The dog god itself refers to the ghost of the dog, and there are many theories about the origin of this "dog god". It is said that if delicious food is placed in front of a well-bundled dog, but the rope is not untied for it, the more desperately it struggles, the more concentrated the desire for food will become, and then suddenly cut off the dog's head and throw it far away. Or first sacrifice the dog's head, and then throw it on the rocks in the sea and other distances, and the dead soul of the dog will be haunted and can be regarded as the dog god. Bai er is a monster who serves the dog god who looks like a child. It is said to be the soul of children who were killed by dogs. In China, Japan and other places, there were many cases in which a big dog hurt or even killed a child in ancient times. Because it was killed by a dog, the grievance after death seemed to serve the soul of the dog. This is probably the source of Baier's birth.
