Some friends especially like to keep cats at home. If they plant some flowers and plants at home, they are easy to be spoiled by cats. Many cats like to poke away the plants, sleep in flowerpots and want to own them when they see a container. Here is a way to prevent cats from approaching.

1. Citrus peel

You can put a few pieces of dried orange peel on the soil, which can effectively prevent cats from approaching, because most cats don't like the smell of citrus.

You can choose lemon peel or orange peel, and be careful to change it regularly to keep it tasty all the time, prevent pests from approaching and avoid fungal diseases.

two。 Put stones

You can put some sharp stones on the soil to prevent kittens from approaching, because kittens don't like rough feeling, and if you can't find stones, you can use shells or clay fragments instead.

3. Granular stone

You can put small pebbles on the soil, replace it with water moss or other granular stones, or put pine towers on the top of the soil, all of which can prevent cats from approaching.

4. Plant cat grass

You can prepare some separate potted plants and buy some barley grass or wheat grass directly. They are the most common cat grass on the market and are easy to cultivate.

Prepare a well-drained container, then keep the soil moist, spray water frequently, and put it in an environment with scattered light. Wheat grass will soon grow, and kittens will be attracted to these potted plants. They will eat catgrass without damaging other plants.

5. Cultivate cat repellent plants

The following plants can drive cats away, such as the common rosemary, which is hated by most cats. Care should be taken to avoid frequent watering of rosemary, and there should be more light in the maintenance location.

You can also grow lemon wasp grass, geraniums and cacti, which are very annoying to cats and they don't like these rough-scented leaves.

You can also plant some cat mint nearby, cats hate this plant very much, of course, the above methods may not work, after all, each kind of cat has a different personality.
