Broiler is one of the economic industries in China, broiler breeding is also very common in our country, almost every household in rural areas has breeding. But family farming is usually a few for their own food. When large-scale farming, into the winter, due to poor management, there will always be some broilers die. So how to manage it when raising broilers? Today, the editor brought the management method of winter broiler, let's have a look!

1. Chicken coop

The temperature in winter is very low, and broilers are less resistant to low temperatures, so we need to strengthen the firmness of the henhouse. Timely maintenance of areas where the chicken coop may be ventilated to prevent broilers from catching cold. Change the forage of the chicken house, do a good job of cold protection and heat preservation measures, and reasonably control the ventilation of the chicken house in winter.

2. Disinfection

You can't keep chickens when the temperature is too low, so you spend most of the winter in the chicken coop. So before overwintering. We should do a good job in the comprehensive disinfection of the chicken coop and clean or replace all the household utensils such as sinks and food troughs used by the chickens. Reduce pathogens and reduce the incidence of chickens.

3. Disease prevention

Although the incidence of chicken flocks in winter is not high, it is also a period of high incidence of some diseases, such as colds. According to the weather conditions, the surrounding environment and the incidence characteristics of various diseases and other factors, we should do a good job in the prevention of all diseases, vaccinate them, and prepare prevention and control agents so as to be foolproof.

4. Drinking water

The drinking water of broilers in winter is more important, because the temperature is lower, the water temperature will drop accordingly, so we should control the water temperature when we feed water. If the water temperature is raised to the normal temperature, the water demand in winter is relatively large, and the amount of drinking water is almost twice that of feed. The water supply should not be too much, as it may cause dampness in the chicken coop.
