Everyone must eat a lot of eggplant, most varieties of eggplant are dark blue color, eggplant taste is very good. Its market demand is also relatively large, and there are not a few people who plant it. However, when planting, many farmers will find that sometimes the color of eggplant is uneven, green and black. Although there is no difference in taste, it seriously affects the appearance, so how can we prevent this uneven color conversion phenomenon? Let's take a look at it.

1. Planting density

Reasonable planting density is the key to ensure the good growth of eggplant, because eggplant has a large demand for light, and because the leaves of eggplant are hypertrophic and thick, the demand for light is even greater. And now most of the eggplant is planted in the greenhouse, the sunlight time in the greenhouse is relatively less, so we should control the planting density, so that each plant has enough light, so that the eggplant can be colored successfully during the color conversion period.

2. Reasonable pruning

In fact, it is about the same as the planting density above, cutting off some useless branches, such as long branches, over-dense branches, weak growth and so on, can enhance the permeability of the eggplant garden. The growth environment of eggplant is better, and the plant can receive light evenly. Eggplant has a great demand for light during the color conversion period, and ensuring sufficient light is the key to the success of coloring.

3. Pick leaves at the right time

Eggplant is a multiple plant, long-term growth will inevitably appear the phenomenon of leaf aging and yellowing, then we should timely remove these leaves which are not beneficial to the growth of the plant. Because these leaves are not only unable to blossom and bear fruit, photosynthetic crops accumulate nutrients, but also affect the permeability of eggplant orchards and hinder the growth of plants. Therefore, it is necessary to remove the old leaves and yellow leaves in time, and there are weeds in the garden, which will also cause the same harm to the plants.

4. Adjust the temperature

The growth temperature of eggplant is also the key to coloring, and its importance is the same as that of light. When the eggplant is in the color conversion period, the most suitable temperature is about 24 degrees, so we should control the surrounding temperature and adjust it in time. Each stage of eggplant growth has different temperature requirements. During the fruiting period, the most suitable temperature is about 28 degrees during the day and 8-10 degrees lower at night.

5. Control nitrogen fertilizer

Nitrogen fertilizer is the favorite fertilizer used by farmers, but they will not pay attention to the amount of nitrogen fertilizer, excessive nitrogen fertilizer will easily lead to the phenomenon of overgrowth of eggplant. As a result, the nutrition of the fruit is reduced and the coloring is hindered. The application of nitrogen fertilizer must be reduced in the late growth stage of eggplant, especially in the color conversion period. If the growth rate slows down, foliar fertilizer can be sprayed properly, and potassium sulfate can be used to promote coloring when it is found that the color is uneven.

The above is the way to prevent the uneven color conversion of eggplant, in fact, we should also find that most of the reasons that affect the uneven color conversion of eggplant are due to light. So we can start from the light, increase the light time and intensity of the eggplant orchard, enhance the permeability of the orchard, let each plant receive light evenly, promote the color conversion of eggplant, improve the commercial value of eggplant, and maximize their own economic benefits.
