Strawberry is a perennial herbaceous fruit, which is widely cultivated in China. It is very rich in nutrition, the types and varieties of vitamins are the highest in almost all fruits, and are known as the "fruit queen". Often eating strawberries has a strong protective effect on eyesight, but also can promote the digestive ability of the body and prevent constipation. So the market price of strawberries remains high, and people want to grow strawberries with high yield, so how to grow strawberries if they want to be high-yielding? Let's take a look at it.

1. Select the place

Strawberries should not be planted in low-lying areas with uneven ground. The soil with strong drainage and irrigation capacity, fertile and loose soil, good fertilizer and water retention and good permeability is the most suitable for strawberry planting. Strawberries are suitable for growing in acidic or neutral soil, and excessive alkali will hinder the development of strawberries. The previous crops in the soil should try to choose watermelon crops.

2. Land preparation

After selecting the land, all the weeds in the ground should be removed, then the soil preparation should be disinfected, and sufficient agricultural machinery fertilizer should be applied after 3-5 days of exposure. According to the land area to determine the amount of base fertilizer, generally 5000 kg / mu, and then mixed with a small amount of calcium superphosphate and potassium chloride. After applying the base fertilizer, ploughing was carried out to mix the base fertilizer with the soil evenly to improve the soil fertility. Finally, make a good bed to facilitate strawberry growth and later management.

3. Colonization

Planting methods have a lot to do with the growth and management of strawberries in the later stage. When planting, it is necessary to ensure that the inflorescence growth direction of each plant is the same, and the number of plants in each hole should not exceed one. Master the planting depth, not too shallow and too deep. The planting density should be controlled reasonably, and the planting density should be determined according to the planting area and the degree of soil fertility.

4. Watering

Strawberries like water, after planting to accumulate enough fixed root water, and then about 5-7 days to water, to ensure that the soil will not appear dry phenomenon. In the process of growth, it is necessary to ensure sufficient water to promote plant growth, when strawberries are in flowering stage, it is a stage with large water demand. If strawberries are not watered in time, it will lead to serious flower and fruit drop in later growth and reduce yield.

5. Topdressing

Strawberries need a lot of nutrition to grow, especially in the flowering and fruiting period and before, so we need to apply sufficient base fertilizer. Then in the growth according to the actual situation of appropriate topdressing, such as in the flowering and fruiting stage, the fruit expansion period and the final ripening period are the peak periods of fertilizer demand. We can properly apply diammonium phosphate and potassium dihydrogen phosphate and other fertilizers to increase the yield, topdressing to ensure a comprehensive nutrition, reasonable proportion, in order to effectively promote growth.

6. Temperature

Strawberry is a kind of temperature-loving fruit, which is sensitive to the change of temperature. we should reasonably control the growth temperature around strawberry in the planting process. Strengthen temperature management, the most suitable temperature for strawberry growth is about 22-25 degrees, more than 5-30 degrees range, strawberry growth will be greatly hindered. So we must keep the temperature balance around us in order to make strawberries grow better.

7. Management

Often inspect the orchard, pick out the old leaves, withered leaves and diseased leaves in time, clean up the fallen flowers and fruits and some diseased fruits, and concentrate on taking them out of the orchard for treatment. Control the growth of plants to prevent overgrowth. Do a good job of orchard drainage and irrigation, drought timely watering, rainy days to prevent orchard stagnant water. Reduce the humidity of the orchard as far as possible, prevent the phenomenon of rotting root and fruit, and affect the yield.

The above is a brief introduction of high-yield cultivation techniques, in fact, part of our planting needs to strengthen management. Not only that, we also do a good job in the prevention and control of diseases and insect pests, which do the greatest harm to strawberry production. For example, leaf spot, anthracnose and so on, are relatively common diseases. I hope everyone can pay attention to them patiently in order to effectively increase production and maximize their own economic benefits.
