After getting the hyacinth seed ball, remove the miscellaneous roots at the bottom of the root plate and soak it in diluted carbendazim solution for 30 minutes to achieve the effect of disinfection and sterilization. After soaking, remove it and put it in a cool and ventilated place to dry naturally, waiting for planting.

Some people are allergic to hyacinths and itch after contact with hyacinth balls, so it is recommended that we wear gloves to clean the balls. If your hands are itchy, don't panic, wash your hands with soap and you'll be all right after a while.

Choose well drained, not too dry loam, neutral to slightly alkaline, when we grow in the courtyard, we can buy peat mixed in the original soil, relatively loose.

Before planting, you can buy organic fertilizer to make the bottom fertilizer.

Open field cultivation should be carried out from October to November, and the selection of soil with good drainage is the most important condition. And cover with grass to keep the soil loose and moist.

Maintenance and management

Light: put it in a sunny place and bask in scattered light for 1-2 hours a day to make its leaves and pedicels grow strong.

Temperature: the temperature required to promote flowering is 5-10 ℃.

Watering: it is suitable to grow in a cool and humid environment, so it needs to be watered frequently to keep the soil moisture between 60-70%.

Fertilization: in the autumn and winter growth period, the application of phosphorus and potassium-based topdressing 1-2 times. There is no need to apply fertilizer during flowering, and one topdressing before and after flowering is needed.
