Key points of fertilization techniques of Hawthorn
Hawthorn we are very familiar with it, it is rich in nutrition, a wide range of uses, in which we are familiar with the effect of timely appetizers. Hawthorn has strong adaptability and can grow well in barren land, but for the sake of yield and quality, it is very important to master fertilization technology when planting Hawthorn. So how to fertilize Hawthorn? The editor sorted out the key points of Hawthorn fertilization technology, let's get to know it.
1. Topdressing at flowering stage
During the flowering period, Hawthorn needs a lot of nutrition to make it blossom, and the amount of fertilizer required accounts for 1/4 of the total fertilizer. At this time, nitrogen fertilizer is mainly applied, and 0.1kg urea or 0.3kg ammonium bicarbonate is applied to each plant. According to the growth status of the plant, a certain amount of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer was applied to make the plant blossom smoothly.
2. Topdressing in the early stage of fruit expansion
At this time, topdressing is to improve the nutritional status of flower bud differentiation, and topdressing should be flexibly mastered according to soil fertility, plant growth and fertilization at flowering stage. Generally speaking, those with sufficient soil fertility, good plant growth and more flower fertilizer can be applied less or not, while those with poor soil and less fertilization at flowering stage should be applied more, and the amount of fertilizer application should be controlled within 0.1-0.3 kg of urea or 0.3-1 kg of ammonium bicarbonate per plant.
3. Topdressing during fruit expansion
In the fruit expansion period, plants need a large amount of potassium to transport nutrients, so that the fruit can expand rapidly, but also reduce the probability of fruit cracking. So at this time, fertilization should be based on potash fertilizer, with some nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizer to promote fruit growth, increase yield and improve quality. Generally, each plant uses 0.2-0.5 kg of potassium sulfate, 0.25-0.5 kg of ammonium bicarbonate and 0.5-1 kg of calcium superphosphate.
4. Application of base fertilizer
Base fertilizer is carried out after fruit harvest, and the tree potential is weak and nutrition consumption is high after harvest. The application of base fertilizer is to promote the absorption and accumulation of nutrients by plants, which is beneficial to the differentiation of flower buds. Base fertilizers generally choose mature organic fertilizers, coupled with some chemical fertilizers, of which nitrogen fertilizer accounts for half of the total application, while phosphate fertilizer accounts for 80% of the annual application, and potash fertilizer accounts for 20%. The base fertilizer was applied by trenching, and a 20-40cm ditch was opened near the root system of the plant. First, the base fertilizer and soil were mixed evenly, and then applied into the ditch, so as to prevent the root system from direct contact with the concentration, resulting in root burning.
5. Extra-root topdressing
There are all methods of soil fertilization, and there is another way to spray diluted fertilizer solution on leaves or fruits using a sprayer, which is called extra-root topdressing or foliar fertilizer spraying. This method has a small amount of fertilizer application, but the effect is fast, and the utilization rate is extremely high. According to the plant growth status, topdressing 2-3 times a year, soil topdressing can also be achieved, and the same fertilizer is diluted with water and sprayed.
