9. Film

In June 2007, Amano did his best to assist in a film about water plants, starring famous actresses Masumi Nagazawa, Takashi Yamada and Takashi Tsukamoto. Amano also served as a supervisor, and he was responsible for all the water plants in the film.

The original work of the film is the work of Mr. Takuji Ishikawa, a novel writer who is famous for another film describing the feelings of young people. Mr. Ishikawa is very interested in growing aquatic plants, and he has always wanted to write a novel about aquatic plants. So he came to the headquarters of my new village. In addition to having a good understanding of the products of the corrupt society, Mr. Ishikawa turned out to be my supporter, since he made a request, of course he didn't say a word to help him! Amano Shang said.

This is the film's promotional poster, Amano still acts as a supervisor, the picture is the subsequent release of the DVD envelope. 2007

The film is about the friendship and love between three young men and women who have known each other since childhood. Many of them are filmed on the set of the aquatic plant shop run by the hero Xiaozhi Yamada.

Amano continued: since you have promised to help, you must be meticulous. This is my character. Since the shooting venue is in Tokyo, almost all the grass tanks in our headquarters are transported to Tokyo. Although we can set up new tanks in Tokyo, it takes a certain amount of time to make a real sense of the scene, so we always mobilize to transport more than 20 grass tanks, large and small, to Tokyo.

After setting up the water tank, we also encountered a lot of twists and turns. As it was winter during the shooting period, it was difficult to grasp the state and growth of tropical fish and aquatic plants. We need to pause from time to time during shooting to trim and take care of the aquatic plants. At the same time, I also instructed several actors to pronounce the scientific names of aquatic plants. I should know that the scientific names of many aquatic plants are long and difficult to pronounce. Sometimes Director Hou delivered a speech of "OK", but I also boldly said "Cut", and the staff around me were also surprised by me. Amano said with a smile.

The staff of the film may also complain about me and may think that I am picky, but I will not give in. For example, the posture of setting up a cylinder and trimming the position requires them to learn seriously. How can things shown to such people be careless? I am very persistent in this respect and will never compromise! Amano still solemnly said.

During the shooting, the ADA headquarters in Niigata was open as usual. I have been asked many times why I don't move ADA Gallery to Tokyo and more people will come to visit it, but to me, ADA Gallery is not only to show the water tank, but also the atmosphere around Gallery, every tiny place is also very important. Now the trees planted around ADA Gallery, in order to maintain the feeling of the primeval forest, it took me 15 years to plant trees, plus the water tank in the headquarters. It can only be called the cooperation of art if it has both inside and outside. It is impossible to make such a natural environment in Tokyo, a big city.

In the picture, Amano is explaining the equipment of the water tank to Mr. Tushi Ishikawa. Amano is responsible for all the large and small water tanks on the site. January 2007

Niigata County has four distinct seasons and can be called outstanding. I think there are very few places in the world as natural and beautiful as Niigata County. Spring, summer, autumn and winter, spring cherry blossoms, autumn maple leaves, each has its own characteristics and beauty, living here for a long time, feel the scenery of the four seasons, the understanding of people, the washing of the soul is also of great help! Amano still praised.

For the stones in the aquarium, the arrangement of driftwood, and the planting of aquatic plants, I have all learned from the natural ecology here, probably near Shuiloutai! Although the winter is cold, I also like the winter weather here very much. The dead wood is blown bare by the strong wind, the leaves fall on the ground, but the big tree still stands on the ground, and the feeling of stillness is also very good, no matter landscape photography or water grass tank photography. I just pursue the feeling of "stillness" and "Tuo" stillness in the moment before the snow in the severe winter, so I have always stressed that, as far as I am concerned, It is impossible to live in such a warm place in Tokyo!

10. Summit meeting

I always like to use a big camera to shoot natural ecology, so that I can take a true and careful picture of the scenery, which is one of my photography principles. I don't just want beautiful color photos, but I want to use the lens to record the natural ecology as truly as possible. Only in this way can I be called a natural ecological photo! Amano still solemnly said.

Therefore, Fuji specially makes a kind of special camera film called "Amano Special" for me, which is a little bigger than the average large camera film! The extra-large film of long 50cm and wide 20cm was used in Sato Island. If you enlarge it to a picture of 4m long and 1.5m wide, you can clearly see the meticulous places that are almost invisible to the naked eye.

Amano's photos of giant sequoias were exhibited at last year's 2008 global summit in Toyako, Hokkaido, which focused on global warming.

At the summit, everyone was enjoying Amano's work the standing Cryptomeria fortunei and having lunch together. On July 8, 2008, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs provided

Amano continued: other exhibits on display, such as Fengshen Thor pictures and screens, seem to have little impact on the environment. As the coordinator of this meeting, the famous fashion designer Mr. Hiroshi Yamamoto, as well as key officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and so on, were attracted by my photo and finally decided to use my photo as the exhibition work of the conference.

When I knew that the photo had been adopted by the conference, I jumped for joy! In fact, I have long thought that maybe I am a little more arrogant, but if I want to make a complaint for the flowers and trees of the natural environment, it will be my picture.

This photo tells them, "I am the original thousand-year-old giant sequoia that has been growing here. How can you, humans with a life span of only more than a hundred years, be allowed to destroy our forest?" as long as you look at the pictures, you will feel that they are calling!

As a result, immediately after the summit, an important summit declaration was issued to halve Greenhouse Effect's emissions up to 2005 square meters.

Amano holds the giant film "standing sequoia" on display at the World Summit in Toyako, Hokkaido. From the window of Amano's president's office, you can clearly see the bright green. June 2008

There has always been a saying that Antarctic and Arctic glaciers will disappear from the earth in about five years, so the above goal is a little lower, at the same time, we should plant more trees.

Plants absorb large amounts of carbon dioxide (Carbon Dioxide) that humans can't imagine, and then release oxygen (Oxygen) to complete photosynthesis, and aquatic plants grow healthily, a principle that can be seen in aquarium.

I have this idea, because when this company covering an area of 660 square meters was built 15 years ago, 70% of the land was already used to plant more than 400 trees, banyan trees, beech trees, etc. In addition, the company members also worked together to plant about 20, 000 pots of wild perennials, with a total debt of 150 million yen, that is, to build this forest. The aim, of course, is to use them to absorb the carbon dioxide released within the company.

Trees are the property of the earth. Should companies that plant more trees in order to reduce carbon dioxide emissions get tax relief or even tax exemption to encourage them to plant more trees!

If there are no trees and plants on both sides of the road, what about the exhaust gas from cars? It is not enough to stop and turn off the engine and save energy. In order to thoroughly plant trees and plants on both sides of the road, parking lots and other places, if we do not restore the original natural ecology and do practical work, we can only rely on a little bit of numerical goals to solve the problem. I have a question about whether it can really be solved! Amano said seriously.

11. Finally protect the environment.

Today, part of the earth is constantly destroyed by human beings, such as the Amazon River, the African rainforest, trees are being cut down, forests are disappearing, it is the impact of global warming! Repeated floods and droughts have led to the death of a large number of fish. On the mountains of Zodu Island, the blight of juniper trees is also spreading, which makes me very sad. I can't press the shutter button of the camera! Amano still regretted the way.

In order to enable you to understand the current situation of the earth and compare it with the beauty of the past, an international association of environmental photographers is preparing to recruit members, including myself and professional photographers from around the world, to explain to others. I hope everyone will unite.

About 15 years ago, Amano visited many countries in Europe and Southeast Asia to give lectures on the cultivation of natural landscaping aquatic plants and environmental protection.

Amano continued: each country attaches great importance to environmental protection, and some advanced countries in Europe attach great importance to environmental protection and beautiful scenery. Like the Nordic countries, the vast grasslands and wheat fields are dotted with red poppies. It is just right that local farmers put the seeds. The trees planted in German streets and parks are also very beautiful; electric wires and light box signboards are almost completely missing, and the integration of greening and human beings is also arranged reluctantly.

On the contrary, our Japanese electric wire lamp posts and light box signboards are standing everywhere. Have our citizens seriously considered environmental issues? I can't help thinking that the Japanese have never paid much attention to environmental protection, just as other people's problems. My own company is also following the lead. The headquarters has no large light boxes and no lamp posts, all buried in the ground. I just want to give people a beautiful and comfortable landscape. When we look at some beautiful and comfortable green environment, it will naturally give rise to a kind of care for nature. The idea of improving the environment!

Amano is explaining his works in ADA contest in 2008, emphasizing that it is extremely important to observe and learn from nature. September 13, 2008

About 15 years ago, Amano visited many countries in Europe and Southeast Asia to give lectures on the cultivation of natural landscaping aquatic plants and environmental protection.

Last month, Amano bought 3, 000 large camera Amano Special negatives specially designed for him.

Because the stock was out of stock, I placed an order with Fuji two years ago, but it was rejected on the ground that the full implementation of digital cameras and the suspension of production of large films had been stopped, so I personally wrote to the president of Fuji. Finally, it was produced for me after two years. Amano Shang Tao.

Now I am planning to photograph the mountains in Toyama Prefecture, Yakushima in Kyushu and Giant Sequoia in Sadu, very solemn and stable. I hope to convey a message of cherishing life to the children. Secondly, I also want to continue to sneak into the river and show you the beautiful side of the aquatic plants.

On the mountains of Zadu Island, giant sequoias, which have been planted for more than 500 years, still stand despite the wind and rain, and there are many streams around them, and there are all kinds of aquatic plants growing beautifully. I must die to protect them! And the big judgment camera that I insist on using, only she can take real and meticulous photos. I want to show those photos to my children and grandchildren a hundred years later and two hundred years later, so that they can know her original beauty, cherish the environment and ecology. Rebuild the natural environment!

Although the earth is constantly polluted, I will continue my photography anyway. This is what I can still do now, and I am still determined and powerful. Unfortunately, it will take more than 30 years to make a complete recording, and there is not much time left. I don't think there is any more time to shoot overseas! Amano said with a sigh.

Finally, Amano said earnestly: although I have always acted boldly and dared to accept the challenge, before I act boldly, I should consider and analyze it carefully, objectively and calmly, and plan carefully. Before going to a dangerous place, you must anticipate the worst-case scenario. In fact, this is the way to travel, and it is also the same for people and business! Make adequate preparation in advance in order to make a complete plan.

Bold and careful, well-planned, and then act calmly, this is the key to my success!

AJ: "not to watch the fish, but to let the fish show us." Did you have this idea when you were a teenager?

Amano: yes. It is not for us to "look at the fish", but to "let the fish show us their beautiful swimming posture." this kind of modesty to the big self has given birth to the idea of creating the scenery of the aquarium. In other words, the previous idea of "simply raising fish in the aquarium box" has changed to the idea of "creating oneself in the aquarium box and letting the fish live freely." The master is a fish, and

It's not human. Therefore, I named it "Ziran Aquarium Landscape", which really means "the aquarium box is natural". It is not that the aquarium box becomes natural, but that the aquarium box itself is natural. In other words, it is a natural microcosm in the aquarium box.

It is my way of thinking that "intercept the landscape of the original living system and the natural world, which are originally stored in the natural world, and then reappear in the aquarium box." Generally speaking, let the fish be able to live freely and give rise to illusion, imitating the Buddha is living in the natural realm, and this kind of aquarium box is the real natural aquarium landscape. For example, it is not possible to simply consider that "as long as the water and grass flourish", the most important thing is to create one's own. The long-term maintenance, as one of the ideas of the natural Shui nationality, is derived from the idea that "you don't need human work, hand it all over to Ziran, and let the water plants grow." However, in making the natural aquarium landscape, we can also learn a lot of self-knowledge. For example, at the same time of imitating and making the landscape of the aquarium and the aquarium, the change in the aquarium box provided us with an opportunity to learn. In this aquarium box, you can see in front of your eyes by feeling the passing of light.

AJ: "this concept and style of natural aquarium landscaping has won a lot of attention from aquarium lovers not only in Japan, but also outside the country. Why?"

Amano:

This is because the big family has a common dream. I think what resonates with big families is not as a form of water and grass landscape, but that people receive the most fundamental and pure part of the "heart" of the water people. It is true that the view of the aquarium landscape is not always important, and the aquarium also has the purpose of seeking home enlightenment, or artistic skill, and so on. However, if you see the beautiful fat carp swimming in the aquarium box, will you think about how they live in the Amazon, which is far from the lake, Japan and Japan, and whether they will think of the scenery of the Amazon current domain? This kind of dream and wavy feelings that can only be understood by the good lovers of the aquarium makes the big family resonate with the birth of the aquarium. No matter whether it is in Yamasun or in the original forest, when you are in the middle of the gong, you will have a sense. This kind of feeling is like fish, water plants, or tiny creatures that cannot be seen with your eyes, so that you can imitate the Buddha together, and it is all a part of yourself. And if the creation of the style of the Shui nationality is to take out a part of the whole living body, there will be no richer fun than this.

This is the interview with Amano Shang on Aqua Journal.

Amano has devoted all his life to the promotion of natural waterscape. The ADA company founded by him and its products provided hard power for the development of aquatic plant landscape (carbon dioxide and lighting mentioned in previous articles), and then launched the IAPLC World Water Plant Landscape Competition to make aquatic plant landscape culture popular in the world. This is its soft power. At the same time, my husband is also committed to environmental protection. The scenery of aquatic plants comes from nature. When we see the beautiful aquatic plants and fish in the tank, will we have awe and love for nature? people who like green plants or aquatic plants must also contribute to environmental protection within their own ability. I think this is what my husband himself called the pure "heart" part. Amano died in 2015, but I believe this resonant "heart" will last forever.
