Why change the bowl for meatball?

The main reason is that fleshy roots can grow and breathe better. Over time, the fleshy roots are stuffed in the pot, and the permeability of the pot soil becomes worse, affecting the respiration of the fleshy roots. At this time, some roots will die.

The soil in the basin will be powdered for a long time, which will also affect the permeability of the basin soil, and the nutrients of the soil will basically be absorbed.

Small pots will affect the growth of meat, roots in a limited range of growth and absorption of nutrients, so meat has not grown much (like thumb pots and shape control except).

When is the best time to change pots?

It is best not to change pots in summer, because the bacterial reproduction and transmission in summer is strong, and the roots will be destroyed when changing pots. If you have to change, you must spray "carbendazim" on the soil and fleshy wounds, and then wait for the wounds to dry before planting.

Generally, the best season for changing pots is spring and autumn, because there are few germs in spring and autumn, and the climate is suitable for meat-rich growth, so the speed of meat-rich pots is also fast.

Winter can also change pots, not to mention worry about the problem of bacteria, but the winter temperature is low, meat growth is slow, the speed of serving pots is naturally very slow.

The whole process of changing pots

Note: before changing pots, stop watering about 1 week in advance. When the soil is completely dry, you can change pots.

Step1, prepare new soil: whether it is just bought succulent plants, or raised for a period of time, Hi uncle suggested to change new soil.

Step2, clean the roots: can be washed with water, because the roots may have a lot of bacteria and fungi or eggs. (Rinse gently, do not rush with water, lest you hurt the roots, repeatedly shake and soak until you can see the white taproot)

Step3, root trimming: After cleaning, it is necessary to trim the fleshy root system, cut off the blackened, diseased roots, dead roots, overgrown and heavily entangled lateral roots.

Step4, cleaning and disinfection: After pruning, the roots will be injured. Soak the pruned roots in the disinfectant for about one hour (carbendazim, chlorothalonil, thiophanate-methyl, etc. can be selected).

Step5, natural drying: must be in the absence of strong sun irradiation, natural drying, so that the most secure, the same day drying can start to change the basin work.

Step6: Change the pot soil: Choose a suitable fleshy pot (which can be a little larger), preferably a sterilized pot. Put the soil prepared in step 1 into the basin (adopt the mode of large particles at the bottom layer and small particles at the upper layer, which is conducive to drainage).

Step7, more meat into the basin: with soil directly cover the fleshy roots, hand compaction of soil, can also be assisted by small tweezers.

Step8, Wet soil: Spray a little water to make the soil a little wet, remember not to much. Allow the soil to slightly flood, just a little moisture, for new roots to sprout.

Step9, ventilation and less light: place in a bright and scattered place, do not directly expose to the sun, keep ventilation cool, do not water, slow seedlings (note: if you feel that the pot soil is too dry during the seedling stage, spray a thin layer of water mist or disinfectant on the soil surface every day, only to increase humidity)

Step10, serving basin: In 7-10 days or so, the meat will be served in the basin (when you find that the new leaves of the meat in the basin period begin to become full and hard, and the old leaves begin to consume, it means that the meat has been served in the basin), this time you can restore the previous cultivation method.
