I've been raising orchids--a bold and successful practice--and they've been growing very well ever since.

What shall I do? I had no choice but to find a 2.5-liter plastic cola bottle, cut off my waist, then ironed the upper part with many holes and planted another clump of orchids with this so-called "plastic orchid bottle". However, because the mouth of the bottle is downward, it is very inconvenient to place. It suddenly occurred to me that there was an abandoned wooden flowerpot at home. So I placed the orchid bottle in a wooden flowerpot and fixed it with foam at the bottom and around it. Since planting to the present, the orchid grows very well, the orchid leaves are green, the spring buds have become old seedlings, and the autumn buds are already 5 minutes high. Even more amazing is: once I slowly took the orchid bottle out of the wooden flowerpot and was surprised to find that Langen had grown out of the bottle mouth! From this, I have come to several conclusions. I would like to ask you to correct them.

1. Orchids are fond of ventilation and ventilation, so they should be good at creating a transparent growth environment. Orchids belong to fleshy gas rooting, orchid roots avoid stuffy heat, airtight. Through my practice, I feel that planting orchids with granular plants in orchid bottles creates a basic growth environment for orchids, but only through perm holes around the orchid bottles, the permeability is still slightly inadequate. however, placing the orchid bottle in a wooden flowerpot full of foam virtually realized the purpose of aerial cultivation of orchid seedlings. The granular plant and the hole of the orchid bottle itself have provided good permeability, and the surrounding foam and wooden flowerpots provide an excellent growth environment for the growth of Langen. ?

2. Orchids like to permeate water and avoid waterlogging, so they should be good at creating a suitable dry and moist plant space. My practice is to use a thick and thin particle plant material in the orchid bottle. The plane of the orchid bottle is higher than that of the wooden flowerpot (watering can be controlled), and the wooden flowerpot is covered with a layer of water moss (remember: the orchid bottle can not be covered! ). Each time, the orchid bottle and the flowerpot can be watered at the same time, or according to the actual situation, only the flowerpot but not the orchid bottle or only the orchid bottle can be watered without watering the flowerpot. As a result, not only the moisture in the orchid bottle can be effectively controlled, but also the moisture in the wooden flowerpot can be controlled to complement each other and artificially create a suitable moist environment for the orchid.

3. The suitable temperature for orchid growth is between 15 and 30 degrees, so it is necessary to create a suitable temperature for orchid growth. It is hot in Tianjin in summer this year, my house is on the top floor, the orchid is on the balcony, and the temperature is close to 40 degrees at noon. I compared the two orchids planted at the same time, and found that the leaves planted in 2.5-inch black plastic orchid pots had black spots and weak seedlings, while those planted in orchid bottles grew calmly and thrived in the hot summer. According to my analysis, Langen is afraid of heat. The high temperature in summer makes 2.5-inch black plastic orchid pots absorb heat, and the temperature in the basin rises sharply, which is very not conducive to the growth of orchids; those planted with orchid bottles are protected by foam and wooden flowerpots on the outside. it plays the role of mild and moisturizing, no wonder the orchid can grow so prosperous.
