Artificial culture methods of Basha fish
Basha is a very common and important freshwater fish in Southeast Asia. It belongs to the genus Silurus. Unlike other fish, it has no scales on its body. The planting area in Vietnam is very extensive, although before, our country could only import from Vietnam. However, with the successful breeding of Basha in China in 2008, the area of artificial culture is also getting larger and larger. So how do we breed Pasha fish artificially? Let's take a look at it with the editor.
1. Culture environment
Basha fish belongs to the tropical air temperature species, so it is difficult to adapt to the low water temperature environment, we need to strictly control the water temperature, the minimum water temperature should not be lower than 22 degrees. Controlling the temperature of the pond water in the range of 25-29 degrees can increase the growth rate of Basha fish. If the water temperature is below 15 degrees, the appetite of Basha fish will be seriously decreased, or even not eating. When the temperature is lower, it will pose a threat to the growth of the fish, so try to create an environment with similar natural conditions in the pond, which can be beneficial to the growth of the fish. Build the pond in a place where the water quality is clean, there is plenty of water and there is no pollution. The fertility of the pond water is moderate, there is a good drainage and irrigation system, the culture area is determined according to the quantity, the PH value is slightly alkaline, the depth of the pond water should not be less than two meters and has a certain degree of transparency, which is easy to observe.
2. Clear the pond and fertilize the water
After determining the breeding site, disinfect the pond before stocking, dry the pond, expose it to the sun, then pour into the water around the 25cm and disinfect it with quicklime powder. After sprinkling for a week, pour the pond water into 60cm and sprinkle the right amount of aquaculture bacteria, and then put in the right amount of organic fertilizer and soybean milk according to the pond area before release. When there are all kinds of plankton in the pond, you can begin to release seedlings, deepen the pond water to 1.5-2 meters after release, and apply organic fertilizer appropriately according to the water fertility.
3. Stocking density
Stocking density is actually the number of stocking, and the density has a lot to do with the growth and the final number of Basha fish. We should reasonably control the breeding density according to the pond area, seedling size, surrounding environment and market demand. If the culture is too dense, it will have a great impact on the growth of Basha fish, which leads to insufficient nutrition and too small growth space to grow normally. If the fish is too thin, the fish can not breed enough young fish, which affects the number of fish out of the fence. Therefore, the number per mu should be controlled at about 4800-5100, but also an appropriate amount of mixed culture of a small number of other fish species.
4. Daily management
Although the demand for oxygen of Basha fish is not high, it is also necessary to properly control the amount of dissolved oxygen in the pond and increase oxygen at the right time. The mixed fish species should be herbivorous and be inspected frequently to observe the growth and feeding of Basha fish and to fish out some of them in time to observe whether there are any characteristics of disease. Change the water in time, when you can't see the fish in the pond, but you don't have to change the whole pond. The amount of water change is determined according to the quality and transparency of the water. Pay attention to the regulation of water temperature, do not let the water temperature is too low, affecting the growth of Basha fish.
The above is a brief introduction to the artificial culture methods of Basha fish. The meat quality of Basha fish is very delicious, and it has no fish scales, so it is very easy to deal with. So now the position in the market is getting higher and higher, but after all, it is a new breeding project, there is still a certain breeding risk. However, according to the current market situation, there are still considerable breeding prospects, after all, opportunities and risks coexist. Before breeding, people should consider carefully from their own breeding technology, environment, funds and other aspects.
