Last Updated: 2024/11/06, A few days ago, I mentioned the planting of rose in an article about Huahua. It is not only autumn, but also a cuttage for rose to make the rose grow thicker and bloom more exuberantly. A friend who had just begun to grow flowers told Huahua that he wanted to do a cuttage for his rose, but he was a little unsure about the soil culture method. He wanted to try the cuttage with hydroponics and asked Huahua if it was okay.

Huahua told this friend, of course!

Well, today, Huahua will take advantage of this problem to offer flowers to Buddha to tell you how to cultivate cuttings in water this rose.

Whether it is hydroponics or soil culture, the first step is of course to find branches that need to be cut for the rose. When selecting branches, you must pay attention to selecting those healthy and strong rose branches, and if they grow in the same year. We cut the branches into small segments of about ten centimeters and removed the petiole.

Just put the branches in a container with water. Novice friends may not know exactly how many branches to insert is a reasonable and appropriate position, Huahua here to tell you that the general cutting propagation is to put 1/3 of the branches into the water or soil. If the mouth of the container cannot support the vertical growth of the branches, we can borrow the foam board.

We should pay attention to the rose cutting, it is best not to choose a transparent container, in the rooting process we need to do some shading treatment for plants, if the light is relatively strong will prolong the rooting of plants.

When cutting propagation, we should also pay attention to change the water for the rose once a week, whether it is shading or changing water for the plant, in order to make the rose take root and grow better, we should pay attention to these two points.

It takes about a month or so for the rose to take root. After taking root, the rose has to be transferred into the soil to survive and grow better. Novice friends, do not panic, transplantation will not be too difficult, we can slowly add the soil to the water, at first there is a lot of water in the soil, about half-dry and half-wet, and then gradually add the soil to all the soil.

In this way, the transplant can be successful. The successful transplant rose should not directly expose the flowers to the sun, let alone expose the rose to the sun. Keep it in the shade for about a week or so to give some sunshine to the rose.

This is the method of hydroponic cutting rose, in fact, the flower feels that hydroponic culture is no easier than soil culture, because it will involve the later transplant problem. But if some friends still like the method of hydroponics, you can also refer to Huahua's article.

When the rose slowly grows into a potted plant, it will be beautiful when it blossoms!
