Last Updated: 2024/11/09, Autumn is not only cool weather, even vegetables and fruits have begun to enter the harvest season. In fact, in addition to vegetables and fruits, many plants and flowers in our home are also in the growing season, all of which grow at a slow speed. It seems that autumn is really a season suitable for flower cultivation.

In fact, not only because many flower plants grow faster in autumn, but also because some things on the side of the road can be used to grow flowers, the effect is not bad. Then Huahua will not sell Guanzi, and I will immediately tell you which things can be so effective in growing flowers.

The first kind: loofah pulp

The loofah pulp mentioned by Huahua here is not the one we dug up when we ate it. Because the towel gourd has slowly lost its fruit in autumn, many farmers will choose to leave the old towel gourd on the tree to dry, so as to prepare the seeds needed for planting towel gourd next year, and these dried, flat loofah pulp can be used to grow flowers, the effect is really good.

The specific method is to remove the black seeds from the air-dried loofah pulp, because these black seeds will rot in the soil for a long time, which is not good for plant conservation. Next, we can pad the treated towel gourd pulp to the bottom of the flowerpot, because the loofah pulp itself has water absorption, and after being padded to the bottom of the flowerpot, we can also rely on it to absorb part of the water if it is watered more. and after padding towel gourd pulp can also enhance the air permeability of the soil, flower plants will naturally grow more prosperous.

The second kind: grass root

In autumn, some weeds on the roadside slowly begin to wither, just waiting for the recovery of the coming spring. These dry weeds look inconspicuous, but the grass roots hidden in the soil are artifacts that can be used to grow flowers. Because the grass root grows in the soil for a long time, it naturally absorbs a lot of nutrients, and as a plant, the fertilizer effect will be better absorbed.

What we need to do is to cut the grass root into pieces, and then add water to ferment in the sun, which can be used in about half a month. We can also bury them in the soil of the flowerpot, so that slowly the nutrients of the grass roots will seep out in the soil, providing nutrients to the flower roots of the plant.

The third kind: fallen leaves

We have known since childhood that autumn is the season for fallen leaves, and the roads are sometimes covered with yellow fallen leaves. It's very beautiful. We only see the surface of fallen leaves, but do not realize that they can also be used to grow flowers, whether made into rotten leaf soil or directly put into the soil, can play a great role.

We put the fallen leaves in the sun for a few days before using them so as to sterilize and disinfect them. After that, water can be added to the soil to ferment to support the rotten leaf soil, which can be used as a substrate for cutting to provide sufficient nutrients, and it can also be put into the soil of the flowerpot to slowly ferment to provide nutrients. Both of these methods are good for growing flowers.
