Sina Bo ID:@ is a tough girl playing with plants.

When I was at school, I noticed an advertisement for a local bonsai exhibition on a poster. This is the beginning of my bonsai journey. I was eager to make some bonsai of my own, and the next day I attended the exhibition and had the privilege of meeting a knowledgeable teacher who was also a teacher and friend with me. He showed me around the exhibition and invited me to see his collection the next day. His tree is dazzling. I am a complete novice, but I get a lot of encouragement.

The teacher generously gave me some small trees, and we have kept in touch ever since. I live very far away after graduation, only visiting occasionally. Of course there is a chance to get some favorite gifts. This is one of them.

His suggestion is to let the tree grow for a few years so that the trunk will become thicker. That's what I do. I plant the tree in a bigger flowerpot every year and fertilize it. The maple tree soon began to thrive, and I resisted the strong temptation to plant it in a pot.

Three years later, after reading an article in a bonsai magazine about the benefits of growing in the garden, I replanted the tree on the ground in the garden, and it soon reached 1.5 meters high. This is a very attractive part of the garden, but it is too big and needs to be reduced in height.

A few weeks later, two smaller branches died, but the rest continued to grow, and I soon noticed that the roots were growing in a moss-filled bag. When many roots become visible, I put all my new maples in separate flowerpots. I'm glad I not only cut off these unwanted branches.

The maple stayed in the field for another two years. After that period, it was promoted in the late winter and was strictly pruned. I decided to plant the tree in a rectangular pot with a stout side branch that looked like the second trunk. The superficial root system is barren, and a large, ugly root is removed, slightly improving the pillar.

The buds of the whole tree opened and the twigs grew. Start to get literate, so that the branches don't grow long and stupid. The following year, the leaves were pruned for the first time, pulling many developing branches upward. That autumn, the leaves turned an amazing fiery red, almost shining.

After growing in the pot for 3 years, I found a kind of oval pot which is more suitable for dark blue, which is a little larger and lighter and more suitable for this tree. Every spring, when I brush the roots out of the trunk, they have begun to improve a lot.

Every spring, the roots of the maple are trimmed and thinned so that when the leaves open, the crown is not so thick, but as light and elegant as the maple.
