In order to spend the summer this year, I gave the flower protector three times from April to June to prevent shell bugs, and then I confidently expected to achieve a successful summer without amortization.

The reality is that every summer will give me a new challenge. This year, more than 2/3 of the more than 300 pots of meat on the balcony have been infected with serious soot disease.

What is soot disease? When you find that there are small black spots and small black spots on the leaves, that is, this is a chronic disease. once infected, the meat will be slowly surrounded by black spots to the root of the pole, slowly dying. And contagious, the surrounding will slowly catch the disease, spread.

Generally, in summer, if it is not ventilated, humid and muggy, it is easy to breed this kind of germ, and the whole grain of my family has not escaped this misfortune.

Of course, a large area of infection needs to be in harmony. Let me briefly say that the situation of my meat is like this: last year, a grape infected with soot disease relapsed this year. My meat is very compact because of limited space, so the germs spread silently. During the summer vacation, when I went out to play, the meat was caught in three consecutive heavy rains, just under the conditions of this wet and stuffy hotbed for half a month. Soot disease spread to almost the whole balcony.

By the time I came back to find it, it was serious all over the pole, and the leaves were miserable. Meat is like dormant, no longer growing, leaves soft collapse, but also lost a lot.

There are no signs of life.

Look at this situation, there is no need for isolation, the heart is broken. So the first thing I did was to fill the root with carbendazim, which has been idle at home (I hardly use carbendazim at ordinary times, but meat breeders still have to have it), because I only have half water in the middle of summer, so I must be careful not to go too far. Don't inject black rot any more. What I want to say here is: there are many brands of carbendazim. I only recognize the brand Guoguang, which is commonly used with 50%, 75% active ingredients, and enough meat, while most of the other small bags of miscellaneous brands have no effect.

The second thing is to use the medical alcohol necessary for raising meat, with a purity of 75%. Put it in a spray bottle and spray the exposed areas on the soil, including poles and leaves, three times a day. I think the sterilization and disinfection of alcohol is still effective, and there was nothing else in the house at that time.

The third thing, I know that such a serious situation, can not be careless, if the treatment fails, I am also passive out of the pit, seconds to set up a stall to sell pots. So began to look for more effective plant bacteriostatic drugs, this process experienced looking for information, reading posts, going to the market, searching for Taobao, asking vegetable farmers, looking for experts, and finally locking on this liquid medicine that has been unable to remember its name. I bought it from Taobao and bought 20 bags for free delivery.

After I got it, I diluted 1000 milliliters of water per bag as told by the store, and half a month after filling it with carbendazim (again, don't be radical, wait for the meat basin to dry, and all my meat has been treated with medicine, because it seems that nothing may have caught the disease and did not show up), and spray the leaf pole at least once a day. Of course, I really don't know how it works. I can only experiment with my meat. Illness comes and goes like silk, and treatment requires a cycle. Soot disease is terminally ill. If I fail, I probably won't have time to try another medicine. I was in a good mood at that time, so many meat friends have been asking me what medicine I use. I only said alcohol and carbendazim.

A week after the administration, I saw that the condition of the meat was no longer getting worse, but it did not improve for more than half a month, and there was no sign of growth. I drank it again half a month later, when it was September, and the dampness and heat gradually receded. After another half a month and the third time, I observed that the meat began to harden a little after taking medicine, and this sign gave me hope for get.

It is obviously better than the same plant in the picture above.

There are signs of life in the middle of the leaves

Stick to spraying every day, a week later, around the end of September, there are signs of growth in the center of the leaves, little consumption of the diseased leaves in the outer ring, and the stalks are still surrounded by germs, but there are signs of new roots. I know that the meat is miraculously reborn from the inside out.

In October, instead of infusing the root for the fourth time, I replaced it with carbendazim. I was afraid that too much medication would be counterproductive. The leaves were sprayed with carbendazim every 2 days. At this time, the meat has obviously improved, but it is still miserable. Fortunately, the growing season, the temperature difference is large, the meat is also out of some state, I can also rest assured.

The results can now be announced: congratulations, although soot disease has ravaged almost all my flesh this summer, none of them has gone. Although they are morbid, they have soared to God after the robbery. The goal of no casualties this summer has been achieved, and a new goal can be set next year!

Finally, let me sum up my experience:

1. Soot disease will recur every summer. If any one has been infected, you should pay attention to it next year.

two。 If found early, only the outer ring leaves have small black spots, you can choose to break off the leaves immediately, which can effectively prevent the spread of germs and isolate them.

3. If you find that there is a lot of infection, take the medicine immediately, you can refer to my method, the mildly ill carbendazim can be sprayed with alcohol.

4. For example, the leaves and poles are covered with black coal, indicating that the situation is very bad. At this time, agile root irrigation with spraying can take care of it! Don't forget to wear a mask!

5. The important thing is, prevention is far easier than cure. Next spring, I will prevent soot disease while preventing shell insects (very simply, filling water with medicine, shellfish to protect the spirit of flowers, soot disease with carbendazim). This is the most important experience I have gained this summer!
