After all, home air humidity, sunshine intensity will affect the basin soil or dry or wet, how to identify the basin soil water shortage has become particularly important.

Here are several kinds of meat experts' experience in judging whether the potted soil is short of water.

1. Visual method

Use your eyes to observe whether the surface color of the basin soil changes, such as when the color becomes lighter or grayish white, it indicates that the basin soil is dry and needs watering; if the color becomes dark or brown, it means that the basin soil is moist and can not be watered temporarily

2. Percussion method

Gently tap the wall of the upper and middle part of the flowerpot with your fingers, if you make a crisp sound, it means that the pot soil is dry and needs to be watered immediately; if you make a dull voiced sound, it means that the basin soil is wet, you can not water it temporarily.

3. Pinching and twisting method

Five major watering principles
