Last Updated: 2024/11/06, When collecting seeds, the pedicels should be cut off together, put indoors for a period of time and then rubbed to remove impurities. Before planting, choose sloping land or flat land that is well lit and conducive to drainage, and arrange it. After that, sow the seeds directly in the open ditch, cover the soil and cover the grass in time, and wipe it off after germination.

First, collect seeds

The seed germination rate of Peucedanum praeruptorum is very high and can be propagated directly with seeds. Its fruit is usually ripe from September to October. When it is found that the color is yellow and white, cut off the pedicels together with scissors, and then put them indoors for ripening time to knead, remove impurities and dry them.

II. Land selection and preparation

Choose sloping land or flat land where there is plenty of light and the soil is slightly moist but will not accumulate water. It is best to burn weeds and withered debris on the ground in the first winter of planting, and then dig the soil and let it pass the winter. In February of the following year, some pig manure was applied and then turned over and leveled.

Third, sowing seeds

Spring sowing is usually carried out in early March, digging a ditch about 1 cm deep in the field, sprinkling the seeds with fire ash directly in the ditch, and then cover the thin soil in time to cover the seeds. Also cover the grass and wait for it to sprout.
