Last Updated: 2024/11/05, Tree shape difference: the disease-free son can grow to more than 20m, while the oak tree can only grow to 7-13m, which is shorter than the former. Leaf difference: the total length of leaves and petioles of disease-free seeds is 25-45cm, with 5-8 pairs of leaflets above. The leaf length of Koelreuteria paniculata is about 50cm, with 5-8 pairs of leaflets on it. Its lobules are more round than the former.

First, the difference between trees

The disease-free tree is a relatively tall tree, which can grow to more than 20m. Its bark is grayish brown or dark brown, the branchlets are green, and there is no fluff on it.

The height of Koelreuteria paniculata is not as high as the former, and generally can only grow to 7-13m.

Second, leaf difference

The total length of leaves and petioles of the disease-free seeds is 25-45cm. Its leaves have 5-8 pairs of leaflets, papery, oval in shape, 7-15cm in length and 2-5cm in width.

Koelreuteria paniculata leaves can reach 50cm in length, have no petiole or have very short petioles. Its leaves have 5-9 pairs of leaflets, papery, broadly ovate, 5-10cm in length and 3-6cm in width, which is rounder than the former.
