How to distinguish the brocade lantern

I. leaves

The leaves of the brocade lantern are alternate, and the shape is oval at the initial stage, and gradually becomes ovoid and heart-shaped at the later stage. It is about 4-8 cm long and 2-6 cm wide, with serrated teeth of different sizes at the edges.

II. Flowers

The flowers of the brocade lantern usually grow only in the axils of the leaves, the calyx is bell-shaped and 5-lobed; the Corolla is also bell-shaped, yellowish in color, about 6-10 cm in diameter and 5-lobed, with purple markings at the base of the lobes and yellow anthers.

III. Fruit

The brocade lantern is a berry, spherical in shape, green in color and about 1.2 cm in diameter. There is an enlarged green persistent calyx, which is ovate or broadly ovate.
