The number of growth above the leaves is relatively large, distributed on both sides of the short branches above the stem, seems to be a more symmetrical distribution, the upper part of the leaf axis sparsely distributed with short hairs. In the summer, tassel-like spikelets grow on the lower edge of the leaves, with spikelets about 2 to 5 mm long and verrucous on the surface.
