How to identify cat's eye grass

I. Stem

Cat's eye grass can grow to about 40cm, the stem will generally have branches, the bottom is very hard.

II. Leaves

The leaves at the bottom of the cat's eye are scale-like and fall early. The leaves at the middle and above are narrow strips lanceolate, about 2-5cm long and 2- 3mm wide.

III. Flowers

The flowers of cat's eye are yellow brown, flowering is between April and June, and the involucral bracts are cup-shaped and glabrous.
