Ginger and garlic bought for more than ten yuan are easy to sprout if they are not well stored, but it's a pity to throw them away. If you do so, you don't have to buy vegetables for a year!

one

Green onion

Choose complete root system when buying green onions, and you don't have to wash off the soil when planting.

At this point, you can cut off the root and put it in water to make it grow.

When the root grows to five centimeters, it is transplanted into a flowerpot, the soil around the root is compacted, watered, and placed in a place with plenty of light.

A week later, you can see new buds sprouting, usually just pinch the leaves when eating.

two

Pickled vegetables

Cut off the root of the cabbage, do not throw it, put in the water (the water should not pass the root), remember to change the water every day, put it on the windowsill to ensure the light, let it produce a 5cm long root.

Then transplant into the soil, pour water, can also grow new leaves, just pinch when eating.

three

Celery

After cutting the celery into pieces, keep the root and put it in water (not past the root).

Change the water every day to ensure enough sunshine, and after about a week, the celery will sprout.

Then transplanted into the soil, as the plants grow more and more luxuriant, you can pinch the leaves and salad, or you can cut off the branches of celery and stir-fry to eat.

four

Raw ginger

Just take the usual cut ginger or sprouted ginger.

Bury the ginger cubes shallowly in the soil, pour water thoroughly, and put them in a sunny place.

Two weeks later, you can see the buds growing.

Water the soil once and thoroughly when it dries.

Usually, the leaves can be properly trimmed as ornamental plants, and the ginger can be dug up and eaten when it withered in autumn and winter.

five

Garlic

Collect the sprouted garlic at home and prepare a flowerpot or plastic bottle to grow it.

The skin of the garlic cloves can be torn or not. After the soil is filled in the flowerpot, the germinated garlic cloves can be inserted and watered thoroughly.

Water frequently and loosen the soil, and after a period of time, garlic seedlings will grow. Small garlic seedlings can be cut off and eaten as a dish.

If you don't cut it, when the garlic seedlings grow more luxuriantly, the garlic bolts will grow and can be cooked.

In the long run, when the whole garlic seedling enters the withering period, as the leaves turn yellow and fall, the garlic seedling can be pulled out. At this time, you can see that the original garlic cloves grow white and fat.

six

Pineapple

When choosing a pineapple, you must choose the leaves that are strong and green, and don't let the store peel and peel.

Cut off the top of the pineapple at home, remove the surrounding leaves, leave crown buds, and keep the black spots below (this is the key to growing new roots).

Put it in the water, not past the root, to ensure sufficient moisture, to avoid direct sunlight.

After the fibrous root grows in the water, it can be transplanted into the soil. The soil should be slightly moist and avoid frequent watering and fertilization (watering once a week).

After 7-8 weeks, stout roots can grow.

After proper management, it is not difficult to grow a small pineapple.

Things in life that can be thrown away as garbage actually contain treasures, which can save a lot of money with a little use.
