Last Updated: 2024/11/09, It is very important to apply base fertilizer in combination with ploughing and weeding after fruit harvest in autumn. the amount of fertilizer application accounts for 60%-70% of the annual fertilizer application. Early application of base fertilizer can restore the tree potential as soon as possible, which is beneficial to the tree overwintering and ensure the fruit of the coming year. Base fertilizer is commonly used as rotten farm manure. Generally, 1500-2000 kg of farm manure is applied per mu, and 3000-500 kg per mu of adult orchard.

It is very important to apply base fertilizer in combination with ploughing and weeding after fruit harvest in autumn. the amount of fertilizer application accounts for 60%-70% of the annual fertilizer application. Early application of base fertilizer can restore the tree potential as soon as possible, which is beneficial to the tree overwintering and ensure the fruit of the coming year. Base fertilizer is commonly used as rotten farm manure. Generally, 15002000 kg of farm manure is applied per mu and 3000kg to 5000 kg of adult orchard. A small amount of urea or compound fertilizer can be added appropriately. In order to prevent diseases and pests such as root-knot nematode, golden beetle larva and root rot from harming tree roots, 1000 times of 2% avermectin EC and 1000 times of thiophanate wet powder were sprayed and mixed in farm manure during fertilization. Fertilization method: use digging trough fertilization along the center of the tree line 50 to 100 meters away from the trunk, dig a long trough of about 20~30cm wide and deep 20cm, apply farm fertilizer mixed with pesticides into the ditch, mix chemical fertilizer with dung water, then pour it into the ditch, and cover the soil after pouring dung water. After fruit harvesting in autumn, deep ploughing and soil improvement can be carried out combined with fertilization. in the first year, annular ditches are dug outward from the outer edge of the planting hole, with a width of 30cm~40cm and a depth of 40cm. In the second year, the edge of the deep turning is extended outward and the whole garden is turned over again.
