Artemisia mandshurica is a very common herbal medicine, its main functions are diuresis, antitussive, hemostasis, detumescence and so on. It is very common in the rural areas of southern China, but most of them are wild and few people plant them. A large part of the reason is that many people do not understand it and do not know what use it is, and it is often given as a weed, until the download is known by more and more people. At the same time, there are artificially planted festival grass, the following editor simply introduces its planting method to you.

1. Seedling site selection

Artemisia mandshurica is a kind of wet plant. When selecting seedling land, it should be close to the water source and not easy to accumulate water, because it can grow in many rural areas, so it can be seen that it does not have too many requirements for the soil to be planted. But it is best to take the sand, turn it as deep as possible when preparing the soil, remove weeds and pests in the field, and then sprinkle sufficient base fertilizer and turn it over again. Rake the land flat, and finally mention that there are ditches to be created, each of which is connected to each other, so as to facilitate later drainage and irrigation.

2. Seed treatment

Before sowing, we first need to select seeds with full grains and no impurities, and then put the seeds into water and add an appropriate amount of sugar to soak them. One day later, the seeds are evenly wrapped in river sand and placed in an environment with a suitable temperature to accelerate germination. The temperature for germination is generally about 20 to 25 degrees, and it can sprout in about three to four days. Then we can sow seeds.

3. Sowing seeds at the right time

In fact, Aegilops can be planted all the year round, but the yield of Aegilops planted in some seasons is not satisfactory, so the best time to plant it is around May every spring, and no later than the end of May. generally, at this time, the soil temperature is almost about ten degrees, which is just in line with the minimum standard for seedling emergence. Here, the editor would also like to remind you that before sowing, we have to water the soil for three days in a row, and each time we have to water it thoroughly.

4. Sowing method

There are three ways to plant Aegilops. The first is the seed sowing that we began to prepare. We can use strip sowing or hole sowing to plant malformed plants. The second is rhizome cutting, that is, take the original rhizome of Aegilops tauschii, then cut it into nodes, erect it and insert it into the soil, and finally transplant. This method is the fastest, and the survival rate is the highest, that is, the ramet that is more robust is selected. Plant according to a reasonable density, but here we are mainly talking about the planting method of seed sowing.

5. Field management

After the seeds have been sowed, we need to water them first, usually about a week, so we should water them at least three or four times a week, so that we can maintain the soil moisture and promote the emergence of nodular grasses. By about 11 or 12 days, basically all the seedlings that should come out have already come out. At this time, we should check the emergence of nodular grasses in the field, interplant and replenish seedlings in time, and water them. When there are about six or seven knots, we can apply appropriate amount of urea according to the specific conditions of the growth of the grass. The most important thing in field management is water management. We should ensure that the soil can have a certain amount of moisture at any time. When the grass grows ten to 22 knots or so, it can be harvested in an appropriate amount, and it will continue to grow after harvest. It can be harvested many times in batches.
