Recently, when I went to the countryside, I saw that the greenhouse zucchini planted by vegetable farmers generally grew prosperous, and the plants were bad. Asked why, many vegetable farmers told reporters: "before the weather forecast said that this year is a cold winter, we think that only temperature control can well control plant growth, avoid overgrowth, if the use of plant growth regulators, it is likely to seriously affect the growth of zucchini, so there is no use of regulators. Unexpectedly, although the external temperature is not high this year, the weather is fine and the temperature in the shed is relatively high, which leads to the vigorous growth of zucchini. " So, how to judge whether zucchini is prosperous and when it is more appropriate to take measures to control it? In order to judge whether the zucchini is flourishing in the later stage, we should mainly observe two or three leaves near the plant growth point. When the vegetable farmers found that the two new leaves around the growing point of zucchini extended greatly, the opening angle of the trunk was appropriate, and the growth height was the same as the surrounding old leaves, the leaves yellowed slightly and showed strong growth, which indicated that the plant grew normally. When there are three leaves in one heart at the plant growth point, or when the opening angle between the two leaves around the growth point and the trunk is small, and the new leaves are significantly higher than the surrounding old leaves, it shows that the plant is thriving. Therefore, vegetable farmers should take measures as soon as the growing point shows a trend of prosperity. The control of plant growth should be based on temperature and humidity control, combined with plant growth regulators. There are many kinds of agents that can inhibit the vigorous growth of zucchini, such as dwarf, auxin, paclobutrazol, etc., but the best effect is paclobutrazol. Vegetable farmers can spray evenly on the middle and lower leaves of the plant according to a bucket of water mixed with 15% paclobutrazol 6 grams. Do not spray the liquid to the upper leaves of the plant, so as to prevent drug damage and seriously inhibit the growth of the plant. If the solution is to be sprayed on the middle and upper leaves of the plant, the use of paclobutrazol can be reduced to 2 grams, and 550-650 plants can be sprayed per barrel. Vegetable farmers must pay attention to watch the weather forecast to ensure that there are more than 3 days of sunny days after spraying, in case of drug damage, excessive control, and affect the normal growth of plants.
