In recent years, yellow striped flea beetle has become another major pest in the seedling stage of rape in Hongta district. The insect can not only fly but also jump well, and is difficult to catch on the leaves. In case of disturbance, it jumps to the ground or the field edge ditch, and then flies back to the leaves to feed, often clustered to feed on the back of the leaves, and the injured leaves are covered with dense oval holes. The adults are mostly hidden in the back of the leaves or soil cracks on sunny days, and the larvae only harm the vegetable roots, eat the root bark, bite off the whiskers, and wilt the leaves. The young seedlings suffer the most. It often causes rape to lack ponds and even destroy the whole field. Control methods: generally, after sowing, rape or root irrigation was sprayed with 40% chrysanthemum horse EC 2000 × 3000 times, 80% dichlorvos 1 500 × 2000 times or 50% phoxim 2000 times or 3000 times in the morning and evening.
