Symptoms of chestnut blight: pathogen produces discolored spots on smooth bark, round or irregular; on rough bark, the edges of the spots are not obvious, and then continue to expand, and the bark cracks longitudinally. In spring, orange verrucose beds are visible on the affected bark. After autumn, the seed seat turns orange red to sauce red, among which dark brown columns gradually form. Between the diseased bark and xylem, feather-like fan-shaped hyphae can be seen, initially dirty white, then yellow brown.
