Last Updated: 2024/11/22, Anthracnose is a major disease of persimmon, which mainly harms fruits, shoots and seedlings. Resulting in a large number of fruit drop, branches withered. When the disease is serious, the fruit drop can reach 20%, 40%, seriously affecting the yield and quality of persimmon. The prevention and control methods are as follows. First, water and fertilizer management to strengthen water and fertilizer management, enhance tree potential, improve disease resistance.

The main results are as follows: 1. The amount of fertilization depends on soil fertility, tree strength, crown size and fruit amount. Generally, a persimmon tree with 20kg fresh fruit should be treated with 0.5kg peanut bran (retting and mature application) or 0.75kg potassium sulfate compound fertilizer (15:15:15). Fertilization method: it can be drenched or spread. Winter fertilizer is applied before the dormancy of deciduous leaves in winter, accounting for 60% of the total amount of fertilizer applied in the whole year, mainly quick-acting organic fertilizer, which promotes the absorption of nutrients and stored in the tree, so as to facilitate the growth of new shoots, flowering and young fruit development in the coming year. Each plant can be applied peanut bran 0.75Mel 1.25kg (retting mature application) or rotten livestock manure 5kg, fertilizer digging opposite ditch application, after application, cover the soil. 2. Deep ploughing and improving soil sweet persimmon is a deep-rooted fruit tree. if the ploughing layer is deep, the root system is deep, the lateral root and fibrous root are many, the distribution is wide, and the absorption capacity is strong. After the Beginning of Winter, deep ploughing and soil improvement was carried out with the combination of garden cleaning and fertilization. Rotate direction year by year to open deep trenches to bury green manure and soil manure, and at the same time, each plant is 100 kilograms of mud or fertile soil on the tree plate. When the soil pH value is less than 6.0, lime should be applied to improve it. The amount of lime applied shall not exceed 100 kg per mu per year. 3. The pruning of the fruit tree is mainly in the dormant period in winter, which is suitable for the period from the Winter Solstice to Greater Cold. Mainly cut off disease and insect branches, weak branches, invalid branches, drooping branches and so on. 4. Clear the garden to root out the weeds in the persimmon orchard, thoroughly cut off the remaining persimmon leaves, persimmon stalks and withered branches, diseases and insect pests from the fallen leaves to the sprouts of the next year, sweep the fallen leaves and burn them centrally, so as to reduce the source of overwintering diseases and insect pests.
