Control measures: chemical control should be mastered before the occurrence of heart borer, that is, when the sugarcane leaf sheath turns yellow or water-stained, the heart borer, mainly Chilo suppressalis, can choose 5% Regent suspending agent 40 ml per mu, or 2.5% kungfu pyrethrum EC 20 ml per mu plus 90% insecticidal single wettable powder 40 grams per mu. For heart borer dominated by Chilo suppressalis, you can choose 5% Regent suspension 20 ml per mu plus 40 grams of insecticidal wettable powder, or 51% rice farmers 100 grams of wettable powder for control. Choose one of the above chemicals, spray the basal leaves and leaf sheaths of sugarcane with 50 kg of water and spray again every 15 days.
