Last Updated: 2024/09/16, The phenomena of sitting, yellowing and lag are easy to occur in the stage of raising rice seedlings. The fields where sitting traps have occurred should be drained immediately to increase temperature and ventilation to reduce toxicity, and at the same time, quick-acting nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers should be applied to supplement micro-fertilizers, with emphasis on zinc fertilizer, and those with symptoms of element deficiency should apply fertilizer deficiency in time, withdraw water and dry the fields or detour.

The phenomena of sitting, yellowing and lag are easy to occur in the stage of raising rice seedlings. Water drying or circuitous irrigation to increase irrigation water temperature, or intermittent irrigation to improve soil temperature to promote root development and enhance seedling resistance. Lack of fertilizer and element are the main causes of yellowing. The measures to prevent yellowing are: drainage and cooling, increasing soil temperature of seedling bed, application of ferrous sulfate and potassium dihydrogen phosphate in seedling bed to promote growth. In the seedling raising stage, rice blast, rice planthopper and borer are mainly controlled. At present, the prevention and control of rice blast is still the main prevention, once it occurs in the seedling stage, it should be controlled immediately, and the appropriate pesticides are tricyclazole, Fuji No.1 and so on. It is common to control primary borer before transplanting, and the main pesticides are fipronil and Shachongshuang soluble powder. 10% imidacloprid wettable powder can be used to control rice planthopper. In addition, 1000 times solution of dimethazone or Guangkuling can be used to control blight and cotton rot at the seedling stage.
