Matters needing attention in scorpion culture
We all know that scorpion is a poison, but at the same time, it is also a very expensive medicine, its medicinal value is very high, followed by its nutritional value is also relatively high, it has detoxification, pain and other functions, this is often said to attack poison with poison, the second is that it can also treat liver cancer, bowel cancer and so on, it is of great benefit to the human body, but scorpion breeding is not so simple. The following are some notes on scorpion breeding brought by the editor. I hope I can help you.
1. Environment
Although the scorpion is a poison, it does not mean that it can survive in any kind of environment. It is very afraid of light, so we see the appearance of scorpions in some dark places in the TV plot. So when building a farm, we should mainly choose places where the light is not very strong, followed by good drainage, and scorpions are easily frightened, so we should choose a quieter place for breeding. Otherwise, the scorpion will run away, if the female scorpion is frightened when laying eggs, then it will directly lead to the suspension of production, so the breeding environment must be arranged properly.
2. Temperature
Scorpions have very strict requirements for temperature. the temperature suitable for scorpion growth is usually about 20 to 25 degrees Celsius, but the temperature of scorpion breeding is very difficult to control, especially the smaller the breeding ground is, the more difficult it is to control the temperature. now most scorpion farms still manage their temperature through stoves, but furnace heating requires a process. So usually when we build a farm, we will build two stoves to control the temperature reasonably, so that the temperature can be kept within the same range.
3. Humidity
In many cases, friends of scorpions tend to ignore the humidity of farms, especially in the south of our country, where the humidity is relatively high all the year round, although many experts say that breeding rooms need high temperature and humidity, so that scorpions grow faster, in fact, there is a certain gap, usually the humidity in the farm had better be kept at about 50%, if you do not pay attention to humidity management Then the scorpion will cause a lot of diseases.
4. Density
The density of breeding can also generally affect the success of scorpion farming. Many people think that the more they raise, the more money they can make. In fact, this is not the case. Scorpion is a relatively aggressive animal. If the density of breeding is too high, although the amount of feed you feed will have fighting problems, so that the scorpion will be injured. It is best to control the density of each scorpion in at least a certain range of activities.
5. Feed
Scorpions have higher requirements for feed, and the nutrition of young scorpions will lead to malnourished love. At the same time, the growth rate is very slow, while malnutrition in adult female scorpions will affect spawning. The feed is mainly fed on some other worms, followed by auxiliary feeding of some feed specifically for the growth of scorpions, while paying attention to the time of feeding, the amount of feeding and the number of times of feeding, generally speaking, three to four times a day, each time the dosage must be enough to feed the scorpion, in the morning, in the evening, respectively.
6. Management
The first thing the management department of the scorpion should pay attention to is to prevent the scorpion from escaping, so we should take protective measures to prevent escape in the farm, and then pay attention to the sanitary environment in the farm and clean it up irregularly. There is also to maintain air circulation in the farm, and finally, scorpions also have a lot of diseases and insect pests, or give them vaccine management from time to time.
