Last Updated: 2024/11/08, Molybdenum is a necessary trace element for nitrogen metabolism in crops, especially in the process of fixing atmospheric nitrogen by nitrogen-fixing bacteria, so the effect of applying molybdenum fertilizer to legume crops is stable. Molybdenum is a necessary trace element for nitrogen metabolism in crops, especially in the process of fixing atmospheric nitrogen by nitrogen-fixing bacteria, so the effect of applying molybdenum fertilizer to legume crops is stable. About 300000 mu of soybeans are planted in Xiao County all the year round. According to the laboratory test of Suzhou soil and Fertilizer Station, 95% of the soil in Xiao County is molybdenum deficiency. In view of this situation, Xiao County soil and Fertilizer Station has carried out an experimental demonstration of applying molybdenum fertilizer to soybean on different soils in the past three years. The experimental results show that the application of molybdenum fertilizer to soybean generally increases the yield by 8.5%. The methods of using molybdenum fertilizer are generally seed fertilizer, seed soaking, seed dressing and foliar spraying, etc. Seed soaking, seed dressing and foliar spraying with molybdenum fertilizer all had a significant effect on increasing yield, and seed dressing showed the best performance. The method of seed dressing is: first dissolve ammonium molybdate in hot water, then dilute it to the desired concentration with cold water, then spray on the seeds, spray and stir to ensure uniform spraying, stack for 1-2 hours to dry before sowing. Seed dressing is best carried out on plastic film or in porcelain pots (iron can not be used to prevent molybdenum fertilizer from precipitating). 2. Seed dressing with molybdenum fertilizer: 1-2 grams of ammonium molybdate per kilogram of soybean seeds. Soak seeds: soak seeds in 0.05% ammonium molybdate solution for 12-20 hours. Foliar fertilizer spraying: with 0.03-0.05% ammonium molybdate solution 50-75 kg / mu, foliar spraying before flowering and entrainment period of soybean. Seed fertilizer: dissolved with 10-28 grams of ammonium molybdate and water per mu, mixed with phosphate fertilizer and potash fertilizer or mixed in farm fertilizer ditch or hole application.
