Landscape bonsai can not only show the essence of Chinese culture, but also have a panoramic experience of people's elegant interest in life. My hometown is in the plain of northern Anhui. I heard of mountain scenery and bonsai when I was a child, but I never saw it. When I was a teenager, I liked to read geography books, draw mountains and rivers, and try to make mountain shapes with yellow clay. After walking through the deep mountains and wild forests behind the work, facing the real scene, we will have the opportunity to reduce the beauty of nature.
The creation of landscape bonsai requires aesthetic vision and rich emotion. When the mountain even rises from the flat ground, the scene is born from the mountain, which is to see the scene. Huang Binhong, a famous landscape painter, said: the land of China is beautiful without mountains and water. The natural landscape is scaled down and miraculously displayed in the bonsai, which is the landscape bonsai.
I use the overall mountain stone collection for many years to make landscape bonsai, the stone texture is naturally pale, magnanimous, strong as a whole, does not look piecemeal, very lasting. In particular, the hard stone landscape bonsai, composed of many mountains and rocks, must have a sense of integrity, not simply thinking that the upper view seal the foot, and make the foot numerous and complicated. Many enthusiasts see that it is a pity that the stone is discarded and put it into the basin as far as possible, so that the head is light and the foot is heavy, and the picture is broken. Some are not the whole stone, it is best to achieve seamless splicing, a stone to the sky, do not buckle, the top of the mountain is not too sharp, the hillside should not be too fat. It is necessary to control the ratio between the top and bottom to prevent the foot of the mountain from being loose. There are also changes in landscape bonsai. The upper part of the mountain is real and should have spiritual temperament; the lower part is virtual and lively and changeable, forming a sharp contrast and balance between the top and bottom. In the layout of hard stone, we can not accumulate the big with the small, but first the main and then the secondary, the big first and then the small. At the foot of the mountain, we should win more with less, and achieve the most beautiful effect that one cannot do without. When laying out, we should pay attention to the crisscross of each other's positions, and avoid monotonous, rigid and static composition, such as trapezoid arrangement, pointed angle upward, isometric symmetry, pyramid composition and so on.
I have persisted in the innovative exploration of landscape bonsai in the past 40 years, accumulated several creative experiences in a realistic way, and discussed it with people both inside and outside the industry.
First, waterfall production (elegant and beautiful)
The uneven stone waterline is carved out of white marble and sandwiched in the cracks of the mountain stream. The uncracked stone can be cut by machine, carved into a waterline, inlaid with white stone and bleached with hydrochloric acid to make it as white as water.
Wet white cement is smeared on the rocks and pasted with glass to form a sparkling waterway. Even if it is not filled with running water, it still looks like it is pouring down.
Second, the production of pool water (clear but not muddy)
The use of white marble basin, cut green thin stone as the bottom, selectively lay the bottom of the basin, in the injection of clear water, that is to form the feeling of green water and green mountains.
Use iron oxide green or iron blue, mix a small amount of cement, adjust to water green, smear on the bottom of the basin, 24 hours after injection of clear water is not turbid, contrast with the natural lake (do not mix pigments with water, because of opacity).
Third, ice and snow creation (spring snow has not melted)
It is generally made of natural real stones, such as cloud stone, seaweed stone, snowflake stone and Xuancheng stone.
Stones of different colors (such as black stone, brown stone, etc.) want to produce ice and snow effect, first use a small sieve basket to sift the white cement, make it fall on the stone and basin, then spray it here with a small water spray can, and then sift the white stone powder to make it fall on the white cement. Cement and white stone powder will not fall off after solidification, much like snow and ice.
Fourth, Sandy Mountain production (rigid, soft and harmonious)
It's best to make it with yellow stones. The surface is made of iron oxide yellow mixed with a small amount of dry cement. The theory is the same as the second method of making ice and snow, which is the same color as the original desert.
5. Digging holes in rocks (natural vicissitudes)
Many healthy stone hills are not sunken and cannot grow plants, so they can be drilled with carborundum in the shade of the rocks, which not only does not damage the stone skin, but also maintains the natural shape. First of all, make a small hole from above, scatter it left and right with the machine, and dig a big stone hole. The back of the stone is drilled with a diamond to make a small hole that can leak, plant flowers and plants, adjust the cement to a color similar to that of stone, and apply it to the edge of the hole. When the cement is not hard, stick a small stone on the cement according to the texture, so that the surface shows wrinkles consistent with the texture of the real stone, and after the cement is solidified, it will be the same color as the original stone.
6. Discoloration of rocks (pale and lifelike)
The specific way to change the color of the real stone: it is best to use acrylic paint, colorful collocation, mixed use, and adjusted with a small amount of water, so far as the color of the real stone is similar. Then, according to the texture of the real stone with unmixed propylene, gently draw the ribs and lines of the real stone with the tip of the brush, which is lifelike and natural. Because propylene does not fade and does not change color after drying.
Change color with cement, match with stones of what color you want to make, mix cement with iron oxides of different colors, wait for the cement to solidify, and then use propylene to do the same with real stones.
7. Disintegration of rocks (natural cracking)
To make landscape bonsai, there are many kinds of hard stone, such as wood fossils, axe split stone, etc., how to break the stone? Hold up the stone on a steel frame, bake it directly above the coal fire for about 1 hour, wet the stone with cold water, and barbecue at a distance of 10-20 cm for about half an hour. After baking, tap a few times with a hammer and crack naturally. Then use fire balloons and hydrochloric acid water to cast and transition, the gap will not leave a trace.
Splicing stone had better use more than 40 kilograms of cement, because it sticks firmly, dries quickly, has strong water resistance and is not easy to fall off.
The whole stone in the water can also be adhered with AB glue and glass glue, and can not be released until 24 hours after being glued. But these two kinds of glue can not be used to splice stones.
Qifeng ancient rhyme
The main material of the work is wood-carbonized stone, with Qifeng, mountains and rivers connected, virtual and real reflecting each other, green trees and grass, mountains and mountains, vigorous and straight, majestic and precipitous, straight to the sky. Between the main peak and the matching peak, there are continuous low mountains, steep cliffs, lifelike shape, dynamic and static combination, majestic. Reflects a precipitous and quiet elegant demeanor of Stone Forest.
Shenfeng Jingxiu
This basin work, using the composition of Gao Yuan method, is shown in the famous mountain and the beautiful between the famous mountains and clear waters. Inspired by Stone Forest in Zhangjiajie, Hunan, and the combination of the two feelings of Yunnan Lunan Stone Forest, Zhangjiajie Stone Forest has the elegant demeanor of Qifeng, and the appearance of Yunnan Stone Forest, which rises to the top of the boulder, is strange and magnificent. Spring returns to the earth and joys to the forest (people living in streams)
In this jungle-style work, the author uses natural sand and stone to create, with several wild old boxwood stakes of different sizes (20-50 years old). The mountains and forests are thick and cute, gentle and atmosphere, with the charm of nature and ancient wild. The grass of the fishing village on the hillside of the wild forest is green and lush. A winding stream gurgling out of the deep valley and beautiful forest, the water is as clear as a mirror, falling straight into the pond, a clear water, full of green, quiet and elegant, full of natural, deep breath.

The work is taken from Guo Xi's "Lin Quan Gao Zhi" in the Song Dynasty, which is a wild island-style work of flood and drought, which is composed of tortoise stone, four Osaka pines and mixed trees and tiger thorns, with green grass, a natural connection with the city, a blend of feelings and scenery, and a reflection of land and water. give people a kind of pine flying leisurely painting.
