Spring corn aphids belong to Homoptera, Aphididae, which mainly harms corn, sorghum, wheat, millet and other crops. At seedling stage, aphids cluster on the back of leaves and heart leaves to cause damage. Light caused poor growth of corn, serious damage, plant growth stagnation, or even dead seedlings. In addition, it can also spread maize dwarf mosaic virus disease, resulting in varying degrees of yield reduction. In the specific control, first, we should pay attention to avoid pesticide control or choose pesticides that are harmless to natural enemies when there are a large number of black spiders, ladybugs, aphid flies and lacewings in maize seedling stage. Second, it is necessary to control aphids before the outbreak: 1. Spray. Use 40 dimethoate EC or 80% dichlorvos EC 1500ml 2000 times; or BT emulsion 200ml per 667m2, add water 30kg; or 25% diflubenzuron 3 gel suspension 1000 times; or 50% anti-aphid wettable powder 3000m 5000 times. 2. Application of pesticide in root zone. 30% carbofuran granules were used to mix fine soil with 10 kg per 667 square meters, mastering the initial stage of corn aphids and burying them around the root zone of the plant, and the effect lasted for about 30 days.
