Growing flowers and watering is an important job. If you want to raise flowers well, you must learn to water them. Watering more and less is not conducive to the growth of flowers and plants, we need to master skills to let flowers grow healthily, here are six tips for flower watering!

(1)。 Water quality

The best natural water for watering flowers is natural water, such as rain and snow water, which is close to neutral water and is suitable for flower growth. You can also choose river or pond water. If you use tap water, it is best to leave it for 1 to 2 days, so that the chlorine in the water will be lost. It is better not to use dishwashing water containing soap or detergent, which will kill the flowers.

(2)。 Water temperature

The principle of proximity between water temperature and soil temperature should be grasped, and the temperature difference should not exceed 5 ℃. Generally, watering flowers with warm water of 20 ℃ ~ 25 ℃ can increase soil temperature, accelerate the decomposition of organic matter, and promote the absorption and division of root cells. It should be stored for 1-2 days in summer, which can increase the water temperature and reduce the temperature difference between the water temperature and the basin soil. If cold water is used to water flowers, the soil temperature suddenly decreases, which stimulates the root hair and hinders the normal absorption of water by the root system, which is easy to cause leaf scorch and, in serious cases, lead to plant death.

(3)。 According to the season

In general, in spring and autumn, watering flowers is chosen at 10-11:00 or 3: 4 p.m.; in summer, watering is carried out when the temperature is low in the morning or evening, and in winter, it is watered within 1-2 p.m., and try to choose sunny days. Water thoroughly until the basin soil is drenched. The water temperature is slightly higher in winter and lower in summer. Such as the water temperature is too low, inhibit growth, so that the physiological disorder of flowers, growth stop, resulting in fallen leaves, flowers, fruit.

(4)。 According to the climate

Generally high temperature or windy days should increase watering; low temperature or cloudy days should be watered; rainy days little or no watering; stagnant water needs to be discharged in time to avoid rotting roots. Watering time should be placed in the light or high temperature, so that the water can evaporate quickly.

(5)。 According to habits and growth

According to the habits and varieties of flowers to water, like wet flowers, need to often spray water to the leaves and the environment around the plant, to maintain air humidity. Herbaceous flowers are watered more, woody flowers are watered less. Drought-tolerant flowers should be watered less; wet-loving flowers can be watered more; flowers with large and soft leaves should be watered more; flowers with small waxy leaves should be watered less.

The cuttings in the seedling stage and the new basin should be sprayed with more water to maintain a moist state. More watering in the growing period; less watering in the dormant period; more watering in the bud pregnancy; less watering in the flowering period.

(6)。 Don't water too much.

Watering should not be too much, otherwise stagnant water will cause hypoxia in the soil, difficulty breathing in the roots, affect the absorption of water and nutrients, and suffocate to death for a long time. Lack of oxygen in the soil will also produce a series of toxic substances, which will directly poison the roots and cause root poisoning and death.
