Culture techniques of forest frog
Forest frog is no stranger to us. It has the effect of moistening lung and nourishing yin, invigorating brain and intelligence. It is a frog species that integrates medicine, food and health care. Due to its own medicinal efficacy, suffered a large number of capture, resulting in its number is becoming more and more rare, and the market demand for it is extremely huge, so many people began to breed forest frogs, so how to breed forest frogs? Let's take a look.
1. Set up a breeding ground
Forest frogs like to live in a moist and cool environment without strong light, and there are no special requirements for the culture environment, so they can use an idle space to build a breeding site. At best, in areas with high terrain, clean water sources and convenient drainage, river water, well water and tap water can also be used. In the construction, there is no film, net or pruning wall to encircle the breeding site into an anti-escape net, the height is about 1.5 meters, but also to do a good job of bird prevention net, the top to do a good shade and sun shelter measures, the site can be properly planted some trees or plants for shade and moisture. Such a suitable living environment for forest frogs has been set up, and several small ponds can be excavated in the breeding ground for the oviposition and hatching of forest frogs, and the water level on the pond surface is 30-40cm.
2. Feed management
After the tadpoles hatch, they can come ashore after about 50 days. at this time, the young frogs mainly feed on small insects, so the feed at this time is mainly small insects, mosquitoes and flies, yellow pink insects, fly maggots, and so on. Forest frogs can hunt on their own when the temperature is right. Spread the insects evenly on the ground around the breeding ground, in order to grow fast, sufficient feed must be provided. Now, yellow powder insects and fly maggots are generally used in breeding, and the purchase will increase the breeding cost, and the general farmers will cultivate them on their own. Tenebrio Molitor can be mixed with rice husk and rice bran, and maggots can be added to corn or rice husk with animal blood and placed outdoors in a container. A large number of maggots can be produced after 2-3 days. This method is convenient and fast, and the number is large.
3. Culture management
Put enough frog eggs in the culture pond in April every year. After hatching, you should pay attention to the culture density. No more than 2000 eggs per square meter are recommended. During the frog egg incubation period, you should pay attention to the freshness of the water quality and change the water in time. Pay attention to the hygienic environment and disinfect the hatchery pond in time. If lime powder or other agents are used for disinfection, the eggs should be hatched 10 days later after the toxicity is eliminated, so as to avoid the death of normal toxic frog eggs. After the young frogs are metamorphosed, they should be introduced into the breeding ground in time. Pay attention to temperature and humidity when raising, increase humidity in time when high temperature, to achieve the effect of cooling, keep humidity above 70%, so that forest frogs can breathe normally, sprinkler irrigation facilities can be installed in the breeding ground to facilitate humidification.
