The difference between Tree Tomato and Tomato

I. difference between leaves

The leaves of tree tomato are alternate, ovate or ovate-shaped, about 5 to 15 cm long and 5 to 10 cm wide, the tip of the leaf gradually sharpens, the base is oblique, deeply curved, and the leaves are entire or slightly wavy. The leaves are dark green, the abaxial surface is light green, and the petiole is 3 to 7 cm long.

Tomato leaves pinnately compound or pinnately parted, 10 to 40 cm long, leaflets irregular, usually 5 to 9, ovate or rectangular, 5 to 7 cm long, margin irregularly serrated or lobed.

Second, the difference between flowers

Cymes of tree tomatoes grow subaxillary or extraaxillary, pedicels 1 to 2 cm long, calyx radiate, about 6 mm in diameter, and short tomentose. Corolla radiate, pink, 1.5 to 2 cm in diam., with 5-parted lobes lanceolate.

III. Differences between fruits

Tree tomato fruit is oval, juicy, about 5 to 7 cm long, smooth surface, orange or reddish color.

Tomato berries are oblate or nearly spherical, fleshy, juicy, orange or bright red in color and smooth on the surface.
