The young leaves of Shatian pomelo are usually dark purplish red, thick, dark green in color, broadly ovate or oval in color, with winged leaves 9 to 16 cm long and 4 to 8 cm wide, the tip of the leaf is obtuse or rounded, some leaves are mucronate, the base of the leaf is round, and the wing leaf is 2 to 4 cm long and 0.5 to 3 cm wide.

Shatian pomelo fruit is spherical, pear-shaped, oblate or broadly conical, usually more than 10 cm in diameter, yellowish or yellowish green in color, spongy pericarp, large oil cysts, protruding, 10-15 petal or more, juice cysts white, pink or bright red, a small amount with milky yellow.

Grapefruit is round or oblate, with yellow peel and reddish white pulp.
