If you like tropical flowers very much and want to add some tropical amorous feelings to your home, you can raise some plantains, and the bird of paradise is a good choice.

The bird of paradise, also known as the orchid, is a tropical flowering plant, especially likes water and sunlight, so if you want to promote the bird of paradise to blossom, you must give her a suitable environment.

To preserve birds of paradise, we must first choose a suitable environment, preferably where there is more than eight hours of direct light every day, and should not be planted in the process where water is easy to accumulate or the soil is easy to agglomerate. Choose humus or sandy soil that is loose, permeable and well drained.

You should water regularly during planting. In spring and summer, you need to keep the soil moist. If the soil is dry for a long time, the leaves will wither easily.

Of course, the maintenance of birds of paradise should not allow the soil to be too wet or accumulate water for a long time, otherwise it is easy to rot the roots. in addition, we should pay attention to reduce watering after the cold weather in autumn and properly control watering in winter.

Also pay attention to the maintenance temperature, the bird of paradise is a tropical flower, is afraid of the cold, the minimum maintenance temperature should be kept above seven degrees, the temperature is too low, the bird of paradise is easy to frostbite.

If you want to promote flowering, but also regularly supplement some slow-acting organic liquid fertilizer, you can supplement organic liquid fertilizer or potassium dihydrogen phosphate 2 to 3 times a month in spring and summer.

If your bird of paradise is kept indoors, it is still necessary to maintain a relatively high air humidity. If the air is dry, its leaves are prone to dry tips or wilt, and you can spray water around you regularly to maintain high humidity. You can also put an air humidifier on the side, or put some pebbles on the bottom tray, fill it with some water, and put the potted bird of paradise on top, which can continuously increase the humidity.

Potted birds of paradise do not need to change pots frequently. It usually takes more than three years to change pots. If pots are changed frequently, it will also affect flowering.
