Winter breeding Pleurotus ostreatus to prevent deformity

Last Updated: 2024/11/05, The cultivation area of Pleurotus ostreatus is constantly expanding, the cultivation techniques are constantly renovated and improved, and the disastrous weather disturbs the cultivation of Pleurotus ostreatus from time to time. The main disastrous weather in winter and spring are: snowfall (including blizzard, snowstorm), cold spell, strong wind and cooling weather (including blowing sand and floating dust), continuous.

The differentiation and development speed of pileus were abnormal after the formation of rudiment. The pileus was small, the stipe was long, and the stipe was thick and hard, so the commodity value was low. The main reason is that the closed insulation measures are adopted, which leads to insufficient oxygen supply and imbalance of nutrient transport in mushroom. Preventive measures: In case of continuous low temperature weather, the mushroom shed for mushroom production shall be closed for heat preservation and cold protection. Pay attention to short-term ventilation at noon, but avoid strong wind blowing directly on the material surface to prevent death of young mushrooms. When the blue mushroom body grows, the edge of the mushroom cap produces blue halo, and even the whole mushroom body seems to be splashed with blue ink until the mushroom body is harvested. Cause: Take firewood, coal fire and other ways to increase temperature, so that carbon monoxide toxic gas in the mushroom shed increased, causing mushroom poisoning, stimulating mushroom discoloration reaction. Preventive measures: winter mushroom shed warming to sunlight, heating, electric heat, etc. is good, such as firewood, coal fire heating, must install closed heat transfer exhaust pipe smoke exhaust. During the development of mushroom body, it grows slowly, and there are tuberous or granular protrusions on the surface of mushroom cap. When the damage is serious, the cap shrinks, the mushroom hardens and stops growing. Cause: mushroom body development temperature is too low, low temperature duration is too long, resulting in cap inner and outer layer cells elongation disorder. Prevention measures: It is necessary to clarify the lowest temperature that the cultivated mushroom body can tolerate normally. In winter cultivation, the medium and low temperature varieties should be selected. At the same time, heat preservation and warming measures should be strengthened to control the mushroom temperature in the mushroom shed (room). Generally, the temperature of mushroom shed for medium temperature varieties should be controlled above 8℃, and that for low temperature varieties should be controlled above 0℃.
