A Collection of Family Flowers

Teacher Xiaoye teaches you all kinds of knowledge of growing flowers!

Autumn is coming, many flower friends begin to add new flowers to their balcony, seeds and flowerpots are ready, but they need to buy soil. Is it free to buy land? Do you so believe that the soil in the flower market is better than your own? Not necessarily! Today, Mr. Ye is here to tell you what materials are used to grow flowers and earth!

Pine needle soil

Usually go to the park 60,000 can pick up some pine needle soil, pine needle soil permeability is good, nutritional value is very high, and with it out of the soil is acidic, very suitable for raising succulent, orchid, gardenia, jasmine, hanging orchid Oh!

Soil allocation method:

Go under the tree to find some dark brown pine needle soil, the more crisp the better, try not to pick green, because dark brown pine needle soil is dust, high nutritional value!

Put the pine needle soil picked up to dry in the sun, and then crush it, the better, so as to facilitate late ripening and fermentation.

Mix the broken pine needle soil and garden soil at 1:1 or 1:2, then stir well!

Prepare a large clean plastic bag, put the mixed pine needle soil and garden soil in the plastic bag, then add clean water, not too much water, just let the pine needle soil and garden soil slightly moist!

Seal the plastic bag, expose it to the sun, open it and stir every 7 days, and it will be ready for use in about 3 months.

Earthworm soil

After rain, there will be a lot of winding soil in the garden or green belt. This is earthworm soil, which is rich in nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizer and has good drainage. It is a very good flower fertilizer. Using it to grow flowers is nutritious and convenient!

Soil allocation method:

Go to the green belt to pick up 2 pieces of earthworm soil and put it in a sunny place to dry! After drying, pound the earthworm soil into particles or powder!

The earthworm soil and garden soil are mixed evenly according to the proportion of 1:1 to form a high-nutrition flower soil!

The mixed earthworm soil is very suitable for growing flowers, and the fertility is very high, and the flowers grow faster and bloom longer than those raised in ordinary soil.

Rotten leaf soil

Autumn, is the season of falling leaves, you can go under the tree to pick up some leaves back, can be made into rotten leaf soil, improve the soil environment, enhance permeability, and the nutritional value is very high!

Soil allocation method:

Pick up some maple leaves, camphor leaves, plane leaves and other large leaves to come back, because the nutrients of the big leaves are relatively high, and the darker the leaves, the higher the nutrition!

Mash the rotten leaves and pour them thoroughly with 100 ℃ of boiling water. the aim is to quickly kill the bacteria and eggs in the rotten leaves!

Find a larger plastic box or container, put the old soil or new garden soil on the basin 10 cm, and then put 8 cm of rotten leaves, it is best not to press too hard, so as to ensure air permeability, ripening will be faster!

Then continue to add a layer of garden soil and a layer of rotten leaves to cycle until the whole bucket is filled! Note that the last layer must be dry soil, not leaf soil, and the thickness of the soil had better be about 5 cm, and the number of layers of soil and leaves had better not exceed 4 layers, otherwise it will affect the fermentation speed!

Seal the buckets with plastic bags, it is best to leave some gaps, and then put them in the sun to ferment and mature! In the early stage, you can pour rice water once every 2-3 weeks and stir evenly to maintain the wettability in the bucket and promote fermentation!

About 3 months, open the plastic bag, if the soil is black, it means it has been fermented! Expose yourself to the sun before use, and add some microbial agents when changing the basin to help improve the soil structure and prevent diseases and insect pests. This kind of soil is not only high in nutrients, but also can improve the reversibility of flowers. Flowers will certainly rub long if they absorb nutrients!
