Last Updated: 2024/10/07, Now many flower lovers are not only satisfied with the fun of cultivating flowers, but also slowly begin to plant potted vegetables, potted fruits and other things on the balcony at home. They all say that in this way, there are not only the fun of conservation but also fresh vegetables and fruits to eat, why not do so? Huahua also feels the same way, but now that there are so many kinds of potted fruits and vegetables, which one is better?

Last time Huahua went to the market and found a new type of vegetable. It looked like eggplant in appearance, but it looked a bit like an egg. Huahua asked the vegetable seller to know that this vegetable was called "eggplant" and had high nutritional value. The key is to go home and plant it. What a convenient thing it is!

Egg and eggplant pot maintenance method is not very difficult, the following flowers to popularize for everyone, and then let everyone go home to harvest such nutritious potted vegetables.

1. Soil selection

The planting soil of eggplant had better choose nutritious soil with good ventilation and drainage, so that the growth rate of eggplant will be faster after sowing. If you can not find nutritious soil, such as rotten leaf soil, this kind of soil is also OK, eggplant is not very picky about the planting environment, and the survival rate is not low!

two。 Light intensity

Egg eggplant is a potted vegetable, so it needs more light. If it is at home, then it can be placed on the south-facing balcony, so that you can absorb more sunlight and naturally absorb more energy. If the eggplant grows in a dark environment for a long time, the branches and leaves will not grow tall and the fruit will not be too large compared to other ones, so remember to keep plenty of light!

3. How much is watered?

Eggplant needs to be watered thoroughly after it is planted successfully, so that it can sprout and grow as soon as possible. In summer, because the weather temperature is too high, the frequency of watering should reach once a day. When the weather turns cool in spring and autumn, it can be watered once every 3 days or so. In winter, the weather is cold and the water evaporates slowly. Water can be watered once every 5 days. To maintain this watering frequency, I believe that the eggplant at home can bear fruit in about 3 months!

4. Fertilizer application amount

Eggplant is generally about 3 months to harvest the fruit, which shows that its growth rate is very fast, so it is inevitable to supplement fertilizer. We can apply a little nitrogen fertilizer to the egg eggplant before it bears fruit, and then add some phosphorus and potassium fertilizer to the original foundation after hanging the fruit, so that the fruit of the egg eggplant will be full. But remember not to fertilize too much, or the root system will fall short of success.

If you have flower friends who like it, you can go to the market to find some seeds and go home to plant and maintain themselves. the fruit harvested after eating can be much more nutritious than eggs. Move quickly when your heart is excited, while the weather is cool in autumn!
