Modern traditional Chinese medicine has proved that peacock meat has the effect of nourishing yin and clearing heat, calming the liver and extinguishing wind, softening firmness and dispersing knots.

The males of the genus Peacock are 90 cm 130 cm (35 cm 50 inch) long, with a tail screen 150 cm (60 inch) long and bright metallic green.
