The living habits of Tuyuan

Tu Yuan likes to live in dark, moist, humus loose soil. In the wild, Tu Yuan lives in the humus soil and gravel between stoves, corners and deciduous forests, with a depth of up to 0.50.6 meters. Go to the ground to rest during the day, and begin to come out in the evening for activities, foraging and mating. The peak period of Tuyuan activities is from 7 to 12:00 in the evening.

Tuyuan is omnivorous animals, like to eat a variety of vegetable leaves, roots, stems, flowers, a variety of leaves and all kinds of miscellaneous grains, but also eat animal residues, feces and so on. The growth cycle of soil element in wild state is 2.5ml for 3 years. The active period of Tuyuan is from May to November, when the temperature is below 13 ℃, they are dormant, do not eat, do not move, resist cold, and can not freeze to death at-10 ℃. Resistant to high temperature, still hot at 40 ℃, eating less over 38 ℃, no burying into the ground, frequent activities.

The female Tuyuan molted 11 times in her life, and after 11 times she became sexually mature and active frequently. She crawled on the walls, tree trunks and other objects, and her genitals emitted a unique smell, attracting males to mate. Male Tuyuan exuviated 9 times in his life and became sexually mature a week after Eclosion, looking for female Tuyuan to mate.

Male Tuyuan died 20 days after mating. A male Tuyuan could mate with more than a dozen females. Female Tuyuan began to lay eggs 7 days after mating, laying one egg every 7 days without second mating. A female Tuyuan could lay dozens of eggs. Under the appropriate temperature and humidity, the eggs hatched in 43 days, and the larvae were oval in shape without distinction between male and female.
