The king snake is a typical non-venomous snake, which preys on its own strong body and strong winding force.

The origin of the name of the king snake

The main feature of the king snake is the black markings of the word "king" on the head, so it is known as the "king snake". Its head and back scale edge is black, the center is yellow, like rape pattern, the front part of the body has more than 30 yellow transverse oblique markings, and gradually disappears at the back of the body. The ventral side is yellow with black markings. The tail is slender, with a total length of more than 2.5 meters. Adult snakes and young snakes have very different color spots, and there are no "king" markings on the head, so they are often mistaken for other snake species.

The living habits of the King Snake

The eggs of the king snake are hatched by the female snake and contain a large number of parasites in the body. The king snake has a large number of parasites that harm the human body (sparganum mansoni). More than 150 parasites have been detected in a king snake. This parasite is widely distributed on the surface of snakes and frogs. Once it invades the human body, it may cause symptoms and diseases such as vision loss, even blindness, limb numbness, seizures and so on.
