As the nutritional value of crucian carp is very high, it is very popular in the market, and the market return of farmed crucian carp is very rich. How should we breed crucian carp with excellent quality? Mainly from the following aspects, and the selection of fish species, culture density, species collocation, feed selection and disease prevention.

The selection of fish species

When purchasing crucian carp fingerling, we should correctly distinguish the advantages and disadvantages of crucian carp species according to the biological characteristics of the main crucian carp farmed species, so as to avoid being deceived.

Culture density

In order to reduce the cost of breeding, it is best to cultivate large-size fish species by yourself. Crucian carp fry are cultivated in ponds with 8000 ~ 12000 crucian carps per mu, which can achieve the goal of 50g / mu. When carrying on the crucian carp adult fish culture, when the average size of the fish species is 50g / mu, 15001800 crucian carp species per mu is the most ideal, and the commercial fish size can reach 350g / mu.

Variety collocation

Cultivate large-size crucian carp species not with grass carp and carp, but should choose silver carp and bighead carp, the number should account for about 20% of the main crucian carp, bighead carp account for about 10% of silver carp. The stocking time of matching varieties should not be early, especially the early input of bighead carp has a greater effect on the domestication of crucian carp.

Feed selection

The selection standard of crucian carp feed particle size should be "small, not big". Generally, when the size of crucian carp is less than 10g / tail, the feed size is 0.50mm; 1.0mm when 10g / tail; 1.0mm when 30g / tail; 1.50mm when 30g / tail; 2.0mm when 100g / tail; 2.40mm when 150g / tail; 3.20mm when more than 300g / tail. The feeding capacity of fish is directly affected by the size of the fish and the water temperature of the pond, so the feeding rate should be adjusted according to the actual situation and should not remain unchanged.

Prevention and control of fish disease

Crucian carp has strong disease resistance, but it should be noted that hemorrhagic anchor head disease of crucian carp has been found in recent years. Although the incidence of this disease is not high, once infected and allowed to develop, it will lead to a large number of crucian carp death.

In addition to the above points, we should also regularly disinfect the fish ponds, change water and other scientific management.
