Matters needing attention in the process of crucian carp culture
Crucian carp belongs to middle-bottom fish, similar to mud carp and carp, crucian carp ponds are no longer mixed culture of mud carp and carp, in addition, there are two aspects of water quality and diseases that need to be paid attention to.
Water quality
Crucian carp is similar to the four major domestic fish, the water quality requirements are not high, conventional culture ponds can be raised, slightly fatter than grass carp ponds. During the high temperature season from July to September, products such as microecological agents, Bacillus subtilis and photosynthetic bacteria can be used once or twice a month to control harmful indexes such as ammonia nitrogen and nitrite in ponds.
Disease
The improved varieties of silver crucian carp have relatively strong disease resistance, less explosive diseases and relatively easy to deal with. The main diseases are: Anchor head, ring worm, sporidium, hemorrhagic disease, do a good job of killing insects in spring and autumn, water diversion in high temperature season, internal administration of some liver-protecting and gallbladder-protecting herbs and vitamin prevention, which can effectively avoid the occurrence of large-scale diseases.
