How do you raise Luohan fish? Luohan fish is easy to raise, but it is difficult to raise a strong, head-packed Luohan fish. Let me share with you how to raise Luohan fish.

Bait species

Luohan's bait can be divided into natural bait and artificial compound feed, and natural bait can be divided into live bait and dead bait. In general, Luohan is interested in live bait, which can increase the hunting and activity of Luohan. But the live bait contains a lot of parasites and bacteria, which is easy to make Luohan sick, and Luohan is easy to hit the body when catching live bait. Therefore, when feeding live bait, wash the live bait first, sterilize it with ultraviolet rays, and then feed it, and knead it before putting it into the water, so that the fish can be eaten more easily to avoid damage to the fish.

In order to reduce the damage caused by live bait to Luohan, the live bait can usually be frozen directly and then fed to Luohan. Use cryopreservation to kill parasites and bacteria on the live bait, so it is safer to feed Luohan. At present, there are many kinds of artificial feed sold on the market, and the quality is uneven. It is recommended that we buy the brand feed produced by regular manufacturers. The quality is guaranteed and is conducive to the health of Luohan.

Bait feeding method

The "four fixed" feeding method should be adopted in the culture of Luohan, which is not only conducive to the cultivation of Luohan's good living habits, but also conducive to its health.

1. Timing: it means that the time and interval of each feeding should be fixed, so that Luohan can form good eating habits and reduce the occurrence of digestive tract diseases. Generally feed 2-3 times a day, each feeding time should not be too long, Luohan should be finished within 10 minutes. The feeding time should be adjusted according to the season, temperature and climate. For example, under the weather condition of low pressure, the feeding times and each feeding time can be relatively reduced.

2. Fixed point: it means that the position of feeding should be fixed every time. In this way, over a long period of time, Rohan will form the habit of eating at a fixed point. When it comes to a fixed feeding time every day, Rohan will take the initiative to wait for the host to feed, which is very interesting.

3. Quality determination: it means to ensure that the quality of the bait is both fresh and nutritious, not to feed deteriorated or expired bait, and ultraviolet can be used to sterilize the bait if possible.

4. Quantitative: it means that the amount of food fed should be relatively fixed, not more or less, generally 1 / 2% of the body weight of Luohan is suitable, and the amount of bait that should be fed should be determined according to the size, feeding situation and seasonal changes of Luohan. Do not feed too much each time, so that the fish should be eaten within 10 minutes. Pay attention to the reaction of Luohan when feeding, and stop feeding when Luohan has lost his appetite.

Raise the water quality of Luohan

1. Chromaticity: refers to the color and transparency of water. The water body for farming Luohan had better be colorless, transparent and free of turbidity.

2. Temperature: Luohan is the most suitable to live in the water body with a water temperature of 26-30 ℃, and 28 ℃ is the best temperature. In the process of breeding, the sudden change of temperature must be avoided. If the temperature difference is more than ±2 ℃, then the fish will get sick because of maladaptation.

3. Dissolved oxygen: the amount of oxygen dissolved in water, expressed as D.O, in milligrams per liter. The DO in the water body of Luohan culture is normal at 5-7 mg / L. Too low will affect the metabolism of Rohan. Due to the large excretion of Luohan, it is easy to worsen the water quality and make the water lack of oxygen, so it is necessary to use an air pump to increase oxygen for the water in order to keep enough dissolved oxygen in the water. Usually should pay attention to more observation, if found Luohan floating head or shortness of breath phenomenon, indicating that the amount of dissolved oxygen in the water is too low, measures should be taken to increase oxygen in time.

Hardness: hardness is generally expressed by KH, soft water below KH7 and hard water above KH7. The hardness of water is related to pH value. When the pH value is high, the hardness of water is on the high side; when the pH value is low, the hardness of water is low, but there is no absolute conversion relationship between them. Generally speaking, Lohan likes the water quality which is neutral and hard. If you want to adjust the hardness of the water body, you can adjust the pH of the water body to achieve.

5. Acidity and alkalinity: the acidity and alkalinity of water is expressed by pH. The range of PH value is 0: 14, pH 7 is neutral, below pH7 is acidic water, and above pH7 is alkaline water. Luohan is suitable to live in a water body with a pH of 6.5 to 7.2, and it can also live in a water body with a pH of 6 to 7.8, but beyond this range, its growth will be affected. If the pH of the water is high, phosphoric acid, sunk wood, soft water resin and so on can be added to slowly lower the pH. If the pH is too low, you can add coral sand to make the pH increase slowly.

6. Ammonia nitrogen, nitrite, nitrate: ammonia and nitrogen are harmful chemicals to organisms, and too high content will cause biological death. Ammonia and nitrogen are the products of protein decomposition, and ammonia and nitrogen are produced by the excreta of fish and other organisms, such as urea and feces; ammonia and nitrogen are also produced by the decomposition of residual bait and dead fish in the fish tank. When raising Luohan, the content of ammonia and nitrogen in the water should be controlled below 0.1 mg / L. Nitrite is the product of primary oxidation of ammonia and nitrogen, and it is also toxic to fish and other organisms. When raising Luohan, the content of nitrite in water should be controlled below 0.1 mg / L. Nitrate is the final product of ammonia oxidation, which has no direct harm to fish and other organisms, but excessive accumulation will lead to the aging of water quality, resulting in a large number of harmful bacteria and algae, resulting in ecological imbalance. When raising Luohan, the content of nitrate in water should be controlled below 30 mg / L.

Daily Management of Luohan

The daily management of ornamental fish is massive and complicated, but it is also regular. generally speaking, the main contents of daily management are feeding, observing fish activities, monitoring and adjusting water quality. As the breeding objects have differences in varieties, specifications and living habits, the requirements and standards in daily management are also different. Luohan fish are among the "aristocrats" among tropical ornamental fish and need to be carefully maintained. Special attention should be paid to the following aspects in daily management:

1. Pay attention to the monitoring of water quality.

Luohan is a kind of ornamental fish with high requirements for water quality. Due to the large food intake and excretion of Luohan fish, it is easy to cause the deterioration of water quality. It is necessary to observe the situation of the aquaculture water body every day and find that the water temperature and color are abnormal and the water body is turbid, and corresponding measures should be taken in time. If there are conditions, it is best to test the various indexes of the water body every day. The changes of PH value, ammonia nitrogen content, dissolved oxygen and other indicators should be mastered and adjusted in time in accordance with the requirements of breeding Luohan.

2. Pay attention to observe the activity of fish.

Fish body activity reflects the adaptability of fish to the environment and its own and health status. Observing the activity of the fish is also the work to be done every day, mainly to observe the appetite and swimming state. In the case of normal fish activities, bait and feeding should be carried out according to the "four definite" principle; if abnormal reactions such as inactive eating or inability to swim are found, the water quality should be checked in time to see if the fish is sick or not. It is necessary to find the problem as soon as possible, find the cause quickly, and solve it in time.

3. Pay attention to the adjustment of water quality.

Changing water is a necessary measure to ensure the quality of aquaculture water. Pay attention to the following points when changing water:

① fresh water to dry. Tap water after purification treatment, relatively clean, stable water quality, easy to use, now generally use tap water to raise ornamental fish. Due to the use of bleach and other disinfection in tap water, there is free chlorine in the water content, which will cause damage to fish. Before changing the water, it must be dried to make the chlorine gas volatilize fully. Another function of sun water is to narrow the difference in water temperature between fresh water and fish tank, so as to avoid Rohan's uncomfortable symptoms caused by changes in water temperature.

② regularly changes water. Different strains and specifications of Luohan fish have different requirements for water quality, so the frequency of changing water varies from fish to fish. For example, the Luohan of the pearl strain likes the new water, so the frequency of changing the water is high, changing the water every 3 to 4 days; the Luohan of the Jinhua strain prefers to live in the older water, so it can be changed every 10 days or so; while the Hongma Liu likes to live in the old water, it only needs to change the water every half a month. Change the water for part of the water and all of the water, part of the change of water is generally 30% of the total amount of water in the fish tank, usually according to the increasing prosperity of the water body in the fish tank to add some new water.

③ has mastered the skill of changing water. Changing water not only needs to replace part of the old water, it is more important to clean up the debris in the water and remove the pollution sources. In general, when changing water, the water circulation equipment should be turned off, the water flow in the tank should be stopped, and the water should be kept at rest so that all feces and foreign bodies in the bottom sand can be removed. Control the speed of adding new water, slowly but not too fast. Fourth, closely observe the reaction of Luohan while adding new water. if you find that Luohan has discomfort such as "shrinking head" and dull body surface, you should stop adding water immediately and continue to add new water after the symptoms of Luohan's discomfort are relieved.

④ strengthens inspection and maintenance. Strengthening the inspection and maintenance of the supporting equipment, whether the supporting equipment operates normally or not is directly related to the quality of the water quality, thus affecting the growth of Luohan. Therefore, every day, in addition to checking whether there is leakage in the fish tank, filters, pumps, etc., it is more important to maintain these equipment regularly to ensure their operation efficiency. Such as regular decontamination and cleaning of the filter to avoid reducing filtration efficiency due to excessive accumulation of dirt; timely removal of water pump inlet to ensure water flow and so on.
