Herring, as a traditional culture species, has been favored by the majority of consumers. In recent years, the market price of herring has been rising, and the prospect of herring culture is good. The high-yield technology of culturing herring in pond is introduced as follows. The application of this technology can produce about 1000 kg per mu.

Pond condition

The pond has an area of 810 mu, with excellent water quality, no pollution, convenient injection and drainage, and the bottom silt is less than 20 cm. Each Tangkou is equipped with 1 and 2 impeller aerators with 3 kilowatts. Dry pond exposure before stocking, disinfection with quicklime (dry pond disinfection with quicklime 60kg / mu, quicklime 125kg / mu with water disinfection). When the fish are released, the water level is controlled at 1-1.2 meters.

Fish stocking

Put in the fish with no injury, no disease, strong physique and neat specifications. There are 900 million herring fingerling (200g / mu), 200 silver carp (silver carp), 50 bighead carp (250g) and 50 Pengze crucian carp (50g / mu). The fish were washed and disinfected with salt water for 3 minutes before stocking.

Feeding and management

The feed is mainly artificial compound feed, which is palatable and fresh. The initial feeding rate of general fish species is 0.5%, 1.5%, 3% and 6% from June to August, and 2% and 3% after August. Herring likes to eat live snails, when the herring has a large food intake from July to August, buy a certain amount of fresh snails and mixed pellet feed to reduce the incidence of enteritis. Insist on patrolling the pond in the morning, mid-day and evening, take a closer look, and observe the food intake and growth of fish. Inject about 20 cm of new water every half a month, control the switching time of the aerator, and sprinkle raw lime water every 20 days to prevent fish disease and regulate water quality.

Prevention and control of fish disease

Give priority to prevention, with equal emphasis on prevention and treatment. After fish stocking, the whole pond was sprinkled with insecticidal drugs, and then every half a month or so, every cubic meter of water was sprinkled with bleach 10 grams of chemical water to prevent herring enteritis from July to August.

Timely fishing

Since October, the specifications of herring, silver carp, bighead carp and Pengze crucian carp have reached more than 1 kg, 1 kg, 1.5 kg and 0.4 kg respectively.
