There are three pairs of barb-like canines in the front of the upper jaw. It is distributed in the waters between 45 °N-30 °S in India, Pacific region and Atlantic region.

2. Pu's narrow cranial belt fish: the narrow skull belt fish mainly inhabits near the undersea ridge and occasionally swims near the sea. It feeds on medium and large fish, such as big-eyed sea bream and round scad, and is distributed in Morisis in the western Indian Ocean and Ryukyu in Japan in the northwest Pacific Ocean. It is distributed in the Caribbean of the western Atlantic, the outer sea of southern Brazil and the Ryukyu of Japan and the East China Sea in the northwest Pacific Ocean. It has been caught in eastern Taiwan.

4. Sand belt fish: the habitat depth of sand belt fish can reach 100 meters, lack ventral fin and caudal fin, the color is steel blue with metal reflection, white sharp part, anal margin is pale, usually caudal fin membrane is white, jaw tip and black, Gill cover and the front part of shoulder belt are light black, body length can reach 100 cm, inhabit the coast, it is carnivorous, feed on crustaceans, squid, fish, etc., can be used as food fish. Distributed in the northern coast of the Indian Ocean, east to Australia, north to Japan's Ryukyu, South China Sea, Taiwan Strait and other waters.

5. Japanese belt fish: Japanese belt fish, also known as leucorrhea, thin belt, etc., are bottom migratory fish in warm waters, generally inhabiting coastal waters near muddy sand or muddy continental sheds, and distributed in the northwest Pacific Ocean. From Japan, Taiwan, the mainland coast to the South China Sea near Hong Kong, it is produced all over Taiwan.

6. South China Sea belt fish: South China Sea belt fish is a bottom migratory fish in warm waters, generally inhabiting near muddy sand muddy waters, with a water depth of 60-100 meters, distributed in the western Pacific Ocean, including Taiwan of China, the Philippines, South China Sea and so on. Taiwan of China is mainly distributed in the southwest, south, southeast and Penghu waters.
